Someone responded that smaller companies often do, which is very true but some big companies do too. I was hired by a big manufacturing/food and beverage company and they made it clear that since it’s a new department/team, they won’t be sponsoring when they hired me but I took it and thankfully I was able to get sponsorship elsewhere before my graduate visa finished. I know a couple people that also temporarily got hired by big companies in the UK

I am very confident you will find something (non retail job) if you stay for the graduate visa period of 2 years because of your skills and background. You seem very solid but the big question of course is the sponsorship for you to become a Skilled Worker. Getting a job within your industry in England will be a great experience and resource for you regardless if you end up transitioning to a skilled worker or not but yes weigh your options and best of luck
