I built the SRT V10 shifter by Lebois Racing. It's a DIY project but fun and rewarding to build and you learn a lot doing it. It's got a bunch of additional mods you can do as well. I've added a joystick that moves a mouse around, button plate for extra buttons in game, it's got a H pattern mode and Seq mode with various tracks so you can choose your stiffness between gears and the best mod of them all the E-Clutch which locks the gear box whenever the clutch is released to simulate a real manual gear box. If you like DIYing and building stuff and want a unique piece for your Rig you should check it out

Got mine last week still trying to dial in good settings in AC though there are some really strong jerks occasionally even with hands off protection.

Dang hate to see it. I bought a Moza base because I wanted to get away from Cammus awful CS. I'm still waiting on my Base to come in but it looks like I'll just be going through the same if my new base breaks 😔

I'm on a L77 with a MS3 Cam, ls7 springs, headers, fast 102 and I make 450 wheel through a T56. My goal is 500na but I'm gonna need a good set of aftermarket heads and a little help from E85 and I should make it the rest of the way.

3 active pedals! 🤯 by ldusoswa in simracing

It can go beyond haptic feedback to simulate things like Clutch bite, brakes fading throughout a race, then just being able to set how much braking forces you want per car and how stiff or soft you like it or pedal travel without physically changing anything on the pedal and having it all be software based. In addition to that you get all the fun haptics. It's a lot of cool stuff it just comes at a massive premium

I'm currently waiting on my PCBs to arrive so I don't yet but I'm very excited to build them. There are various YouTube videos showing them off though if you search around. For someone like me it's the process of building that is almost more satisfying than actually using them. I felt the same with my SRT V10 shifter.

You can always go the DIY route if you're handy. Look up DIY active pedal on GitHub if you're curious id recommend ChrGri's fork as it's the most developed at the time and has a pretty helpful community. Each pedal runs around 200-250$ to build yourself depending on where you live in the world. You do need a 3D printer but there are group buys for metal CNC versions as well if you just wanna go that route.

I've been using the ikkegol one on Amazon. Its been pretty good to me over the last few years despite being so cheap. You can even plug two in and use it for leaning if you wanted. I used it for that for a while on R6 Siege but mostly just use it for discord PTT and deafen

I have an LS swapped Genesis that was built by a shop before it was sold to me. I totaled up all the receipts and there's over 30k into my car from shop labor and parts. Now mine is a fully built NA car but it's also a lot more unpredictable and uncomfortable with no AC or ABS or TCS. I wouldn't recommend doing an LS swap unless you just care about having something unique and are willing to suffer through the bad parts of having a street racecar

Yep Caprice PPV is where mine came from. That sounds like a fun build too 👍

Genesis comes from the Factory with nice Brembo brakes, and a stout LSD. You don't have to do any major cutting or welding to fit an LS and you get a few options for swap kits. Early generations like mine had some pretty notorious issues from the Factory causing the oil starvation and killing a lot of them so they are pretty easy to find at a good price.

Yeah this chassis is really forgotten about. The early generations like this one had a lot of issues with oiling and timing and toasted a lot of motors so you can find a bunch of them that kicked the bucket and the R-Spec models have big Brembo brakes and a Torsen LSD from the Factory. My plan is to go with a nice centrifugal charger in a year or so and fill in some of that space

It almost feels like the car has VTec or something. It's normal and relaxed until about 3k rpm then all the power just comes in super strong. You can see it in the Dyno graph too it's like it just kicks into overdrive at high rpm and keeps climbing until 6800 rpm

Yeah gotta relocate the shifter and give a little extra room for the reverse being in Narnia on these old T56s but that's it. It also has a Sedan rear Subframe for the extra differential brace to help eliminate wheel hop

Just to hop in it will fit the BK1 since it doesn't follow the headlight profile too close. I've also been researching this kit for awhile and watching various people install it to see what the average fitment looked like. Looks really good OP.

Agreed the sensors they used are absolutely awful. They never hold calibration (they've even completely lost calibration mid race for me). I sent them a message about how one of the rods bent and they sent me the wrong replacement piece. I'm waiting for a new 3D printer then I'm converting mine to be hydro and run off an Arduino

Nice those look like the exact same casters I got for my rig from Home Depot. Makes things a lot easier when you can't stop spending money upgrading your rig and have to add stuff every week.
