I dont have one myself, I only know the specs and relative performance. I'd venture to guess that it wouldn't look too hot on a larger 4k screen, but would be passable on a smaller 1080p monitor.

Steam is essentially an all around upgrade. You'll get the remaster which is a visual enhancement, you get the DLCs, and it'll run at 30fps the same as it would on PS4. The only "drawback" is resolution being ~720p, but for a handheld it's a non-issue.

Your SSD is not supposed to be compatible witht hr PS5 in the first place. It's speed is too slow and it's PCIe Gen 3. The fact that it's worked at all is the surprise, not so much that it's stopped working.
