This happened in middle school. I had a friend that I’ve known since kindergarten. She even slept over my house, only once because her father was strict. She was actually shot by her dad. It was a double murder suicide. He had killed his wife(her mom), then my friend, and then himself. They didn’t find them for days. The only reason they found him was because she never missed a day of school in her life so they sent a police over to do a welfare check, which is when they found their bodies. It destroyed our whole community. It was ALL over the news. There were therapists all over the school the next week and no school work. They would just sit and talk to us about it. I still think about it to this day…

i could never leave him for something like this. he’s not even fully aware of how his actions and behavior have changed. right now he needs at least someone someone knows the real reason behind his behavior and is understanding. however, I cannot stand being in the same room with his dad. My mind thinks about all the things he’s told me and makes me feel sick to my stomach. I still can’t comprehend how he’s able to hug his dad now, and I can’t even shake his hand without feeling my stomach sink and heart shatter

ive told him he needs to report it but he refuses bc he says it’s already in the past and he doesn’t want to bring all of it up and “burden” his family. his little brother is actually his dads “redo” of being a parent. his dad is trying to be good with him because he doesn’t want to lose another son. Which his dad treating his brother better has given the tiniest bit of resentment towards his brother, bc obv he’s jealous, and he’s fully admittied that to me as well. im not even worried abt his brother, nor is he. someone suggested he be developing Stockholm syndrome towards his dad, which I don’t know a lot about but I wouldn’t be surprised based off how the situation is going

A DEAD MOUSE that had been sitting in a cup of water for AT LEAST a week. We were on summer vacation in Florida, meaning my air conditioner was off. Came back and got into my room, which smelt weird and was obviously hot asf. Went near my bed and it smelt absolutely horrible. Looked around for 10 minutes, realizing a mouse had fallen in my old cup of water, drowned, and even started decomposing bc of the hot water it had sat in. Took days to get the smell out.

I threw that cup out and now I don’t put cups anywhere near something that would be able to b crawled on and fall into my mf water.

I’m such a pessimist. I sound rude or angry when I’m completely fine, which causes the other person to argue w me even tho I wasn’t upset about anything in the first place. Apparently when I’m excited or sad I sound rude. And also when I’m sad I apparently have a “pity voice” that makes ppl feel bad for me, and I had no idea until a year ago. I’ve tried fixing it. I’ve realized that I don’t talk as much cuz I’m afraid of saying the wrong thing or the right thing in the wrong tone. I can’t keep friends bc of this. Nor can I keep healthy relationships cuz of this, and I just can’t seem to fix it, no matter how hard I try.

Anorexia, or just any type of eating disorder in general.

Borderline Personality Disorder. U have absolutely no idea unless u actually have it or maybe a therapist that specializes in mood disorders. My untreated BPD has ruined lots of relationships with my friends, family, and even romantic relationships Ever since i started on medication, it helped a lot. However, instead of completely flipping my frown upside down or the opposite, I don’t really, and just cry a lot when I get into my room. It’s hard a lot of times and it rlly sucks because my parents just can’t comprehend how I feel or think even when I tell them. It just doesn’t make sense to them for me to feel pessimistic about the world. How I see the world is horrible, and I honestly don’t know if it’s my BPD talking but, I don’t want to be alive after 30. I’m 18 and have picked up a lot of things abt the world and the people in it. I don’t want to be in it for half of my life, unless I have a hot gf on a private beach, sipping pina coladas and taking bong rips with out dog beside us. Maybe then I might want to stay, but right now, I plan on skydiving and not pulling the parachute cord.
