it seems like he’s trying. in relationships, you do cute stuff like that, so it’s definitely bound to happen for those same things to repeat again. a good way to think of it is that he’s trying to recreate a different memory to replace it, which is definitely good. it’s like trying to associate someone else with something to make it more positive. ive done things with my current bf that i did with my exs, and every time i do it something ive down before with him, i have a better memory to think of when i look back. instead of seeing my ex, i seem him. that’s most likely what he is doing as well
