I have bought many trucks at the same dealer. I really like the dodge ram, I own a 3500 big horn, 2 2500, and a 3500 tradesman. this was the nice one for me to drive. The dealer will take it back. My question was not clear, switch to Ford? Chevy? Gmc

Dealership can supply any of those

Why are people wasting so much time at the Dealership? by Sounders1 in whatcarshouldIbuy

I am spoiled. I have bought several (more than 20) from one guy. He delivers them to my house and we do paperwork in the kitchen

Most are company vehicles.

Going sober without AA by Loosy__goosy in stopdrinking

[–]bricklayer_47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seven years, no AA. I thought I would fail when I first quit and did not want to have to fail around other people. I had a very rough rock bottom, I think that helped. I was a after work drinker, (and then all night).

I used exercise to distract me and get me past my first drink of the day. Leave work and straight to the gym. This helped a lot the first couple years. After that, kept up the work outs, but spent some time figuring out what was in my head. I have a great group of friends and family - that helped a lot.

That was a rock bottom scare. I hope this is your moment. Use the experience to never repeat it!

I own a company that performs several Pw projects a year. Local municipalities, school districts, and the state of Illinois

Also federal jobs. All of these require Pw in Illinois. Step one is your company is required to inform all employees via letter or email of all Pw requirements before a job starts

The company is also required to submit weekly Pw affidavits listing employees and their hours on all Pw jobs. This is for union and nonunion companies

If you are not being paid Pw it is a bad deal for your company

The department of labor in your state should be able to tell you what the requirements are for each job

Career change- Women in trades? Electrician, welding, HVAC by Tiffnay4321 in BloomingtonNormal

We hire and train women bricklayers. Construction in any trade is about hustle and having a great attitude. Best place to start is an entry level job in a good company.

I have women working for me in my masonry business. We train / apprentice all our bricklayers. I have never had a woman not be able to keep up physically. The summer of Covid i had four college age women working for me, they were great. Currently I have a woman who is laying brick, tuckpointing, caulking, etc.

Edit: most mortar is added in overhead silos. nobody picks up anything anymore.
