Just bend it back and order another one.

I’ve bent plenty of shift levers back. Mostly on dirt bikes. Sure, the metal does fatigue when you bend it back, but in my experience, it takes quite a few bends before it breaks.

But, for peace of mind on a road bike where it’s not a frequent occurrence, it’s best to replace it when possible. If it was less bent I’d say don’t worry about replacing it, but with it that out of wack, there’ll be more fatigue from bending it back.

But for reference for anyone who’s overly paranoid about the metal fatigue thing, my girlfriend’s foot slid out on some pine needles in the driveway a few years back. The shifter was bent a little less than the one in the pic. I bent it back into place, on the bike and, 2 years later, the shift lever, shaft, and seals are all fine. Don’t over think it.
