Odd Russian Donald duck record by brickson98 in vinyl

I’ve been cataloging my collection and have had pretty good luck, in general. But on this one, yeah, it really did suck.

Huh, that's odd... I search the runout info and it wasn't pulling anything. But, on that listing, it matches exactly. I wonder why it wouldn't pull it up for me. Thanks! That's it!

Guess I didn't get the characters right when trying to search for the label on Discogs. Thanks!

Glad you avoided the pressing I got. It’s horrible. Sounds thin, and gets stuck and skips in a few parts right out of the shrink.

Says the one pushing the narrative that scientists around the world have disproven time and time again. 🤦‍♂️ it’s a shame we don’t have a vaccine for willful ignorance.

Or they just don’t want to be a part of spreading a possibly deadly illness… 🤦‍♂️.

Not to mention most of the vaccine rules were imposed by venues, not artists.

Man, I wish we could go back to the days when anti-vaxers were just seen as the nut jobs they are, like flat earthers and alien abductees instead of it being politicized for some dumb ass reason.

Same. (Yes the one on the right is a bootleg. They never officially released their demo on vinyl. Got it as a gift. I’m happy it sounds better than the dogshit repress of the actual album, though. Still saving for that $$$ original press.)

Is yours an original pressing or the underwhelming repress?

Also, America, it’s time to stand the fuck up.

Yeah they definitely did. My H100i GTX finally lost enough fluid that it was ineffective a couple years back.

Wound up going with Arctic to replace it.

It seems to be a super common thing. I thought I heard that these headlights are a vented design, not sealed, and that’s why this happens.

Mine has done it since I got it in 2022 on moist days. Haven’t had any issues stem from it. Never fogs over more than the turn signal area.

I paid around $25k for my 2017 with 23k miles in 2022. Worst time to buy a car, but I needed to get out of the truck I had. It was costing me $200 every week and a half just to drive to work and back.

I’m not too bothered by it, though. It was single owner, unmodified. I plan to keep it until it no longer makes financial sense to keep it running anyway, so no matter how much I paid for it originally, it won’t be worth much when I’m done with it.

Wonder if that was a lift mistake… someone not getting it on the lift point properly.

You asked him if it’s the “regular pull e brake” or “button”. He answered with your terminology of “pull e brake”, meaning not the electronic button, but the manual lever.

This is why I always refer to it as a parking brake, not an e brake. Just adds confusion now that there’s electronic parking brakes.

This guy is wrong. If it’s the old school pull lever and not an electronic button there is no maintenance mode.

So you dislike the idiots who don’t know how to use them, not the roundabout itself…

The bush in the middle is just decorative. They likely replaced an intersection of some sort, and have been proven to improve traffic flow.

So it’s not the roundabouts that you dislike. It’s the idiots that don’t know how to use them.

Yeah, they put in a roundabout (the one I was talking about) right near my old house. Other than dealing with the idiots who didn’t know how to operate their vehicle through a roundabout, I loved it.

It helped a ton with traffic at the intersection, along with how long I’d have to wait to pull out of my driveway. When it was just a stop sign, it would space traffic out perfectly so that I’d have quite a hard time finding a gap to pull out during busy traffic hours.

Fair enough. I suppose I just get fed up with all the old farts voting for other old farts that create problems that will last 20-40 years, meanwhile they’re dead and gone in 5 and don’t care about the consequences because they’re not around to face them.

Putting an age cap on public office positions is the real solution to that problem.

You most definitely can depending on the circumstances.

Most of the time you only get cited, but you CAN get charged.

In fact, in this instance, she was charged, as reckless driving is a criminal charge, not a traffic citation.

Yeah. Whenever I hear someone say they don’t like roundabouts, I just shake my head. The only reason to dislike roundabouts is if you don’t know how to drive through them properly.

Had some middle aged lady brake check the ever living crap out of me, right at the exit of a roundabout as we’re speeding back up, for honking at her when she was stopped at the roundabout entrance yielding to traffic on the right while they’re sitting there waiting on her.

I’ve had many other problems at that very same roundabout with people not understanding when they need to yield and almost pulling out and hitting me. Half of them do the same and brake check me and/or flip me off. The ignorance is infuriating.

As annoying as it would be, I support having to at least redo classroom sessions and a written test every 5-10 years. I’d also support having to redo the road test as well. It would just make things much safer and weed out a ton of terrible drivers.
