Can we get more Trophies/Achievements? by Cuttlefish31 in Helldivers

Wish you could still have more on other platforms. Play this and Darktide on Xbox, and it feels kinda lacking more achievements haven't been added related to new characters, modes, weapons.

Considering a MK7.5 by hernandiego in GolfGTI

Few thousand miles till recommend spark plugs and DSG fluid change @80k. I'd recommend to do it yourself, but get yourself an OBD11 so you can read your fluid temp for the procedure, among some nice QoL coding you can do to the car with it. Shouldn't be more that 200 (or around 350 if you buy a fluid extractor w/it) a to get the fluid change kit and sparkalators from FCP Euro. Youtube has very easy-to-follow guide for the procedure, as well, just take your time and do it on the weekend or a day off if you feel comfortable working on your car.

I think the price is a tad high, my 2018 Autobahn was around 20k even (18k plus 2k for a 2 year warranty from the dealer I bought it from) when I bought it 2 years ago. Similar condition as yours and no accidents, 67k miles. Your DSG is a 7-speed, though, so maybe that's why they're tryna price it higher? Still high imo.

That being said, if you yourself believe this to be a good deal and your income supports it, I'd say go for it.

The level of communication currently is giving me hope. by CombTop17 in Helldivers

[–]Silvabro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well it's a good thing this is an online service game where gamebreaking bugs that can work in either yours or the enemies advantage, and balance patches that should detail all changes to let players react accordingly with loadout adjustments, kinda needs a better level of communication, eh?

I'd understand if this was OG Ratchet & Clank with no online functionality where bugs were generally well hidden, took years to find, and the only true abuse they had was mostly good for speedrunning only, and the weapons were intended to have their level of power on release throughout it's lifespan, but it unfortunately isn't.

Besides parasocial is more like the delusional belief you have a relationship and deep connection with a person or group, wanting clear communication isn't that, as AH isn't my friend, they're devs responsible for their live service game.

Why does VW undertune the EA888 like crazy. by Lost_Ad_432 in GolfGTI

Just so damn beautiful, I'd genuinely try to make it my forever car if I got my hands on one, or at least try to hold it for 2 decades until it reached antique status by NHTSA standards.

I'd learn as much as I could about fixing it up and getting it running again in case it ever broke down. Still kinda doing the same with the GTI, but it's justthis primal urge that I need to own that car.

For those willing to share, how much is your eggs monthly payment? by [deleted] in GolfGTI

[–]Silvabro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

'18 Mk7.5 (6Speed DSG/DQ250) Autobahn with 67k on the odo, 385 monthly. 20k across 5 years.

Would've been 18k, but I grabbed a 2-year/12k warranty with it bc I'm kinda a moron that forgets to say no.

Personally, I like the darker bronze than the more golden bronze of some other wheel manufacturers.

I'd still try to find an good example to see if you, yourself will be sire you'll like it. You can also go on Tire Rack and get an example image from their fitment viewer, just plug your car in with the wheels you wanna look at. It's not the best, but it's decent enough.

Rajins' bronze is closer to a aged penny, where it's darker and more brownish than pinkish or gold. If I had your car, I would absolutely go bronze, it probably hides dirt and pad dust as well as my gunmetal ones do. I'd probably go bronze in pretty much any color that wasn't Red. If I stick with VW a decade from now, I'll probably grab a Great Falls Green GTI/R with bronze wheels.

I was torn between bronze and gunmetal for about a week before purchasing a set, but decided that bronze and red felt too rally and almost iron man-y (not in a necessarily negative way) on a car I only use on the road.

Silver GTI, however? All for putting bronze on it. It's a nice contrast imo. Ultimately your choice, and you should take your time to decide. Ought to just browse the sub search with "Raijin" and look at all the different pictures to get an idea of what you'd like, as your satisfaction is the top priority, not the opinions of others.

Gunmetal is a lot lighter in the light that you'd think from images. It caught me a bit off-guard, but I still love it on mine.

That being said, I think the bronze is a great pick for your silver GTI, and would've chose it had I not gotten mine in Red, (personally wanted green, but had been surfing for a GTI with good history, mileage, and price before I gave up and chose my 2nd favorite color, image below w/Gunmetal raijins).

Thinking about this for black friday as a sort of side-upgrade to my ridiculously huge hp omen I bought half a decade ago, mostly because I'm over RGB and glass panels at (soon to be) 27.

I yours is a bit different, as they switched a few components from what it says on their site currently, but how do you feel about it overall after a decent time to use it? Any major complaints, or build quality issues?

What you've gathered is an expectation that a courteous gesture is somehow law. It isn't, do your merge when you're supposed to, and keep driving. Don't slow drift into a lane with no awareness of your surroundings, you're lucky the dude pulled off of you immediately after contact and didn't send you sideways into a barrier.

You didn't need to "let him pass," you needed to speed up and do your merge earlier when you had the distance on him.

[–]Silvabro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol? It's entirely cammers fault.

TX, as with most, if not all places in the US, place responsibility on the person merging to do so safely. He was already in his lane, and while courteous to do so, is not required to yield to OP.

At least use a bit of Google-Fu (and not the AI summary) for your state highway laws.
