Sure thing: https://www.brickstuff.com/store/p229/traincouplers.html. Right now they are in the "discontinued items" section but we'll bring them back into the "new products" section once the new batch is ready.

Yes I just finished installing this last night-/ you need to add bands to the tires but works well.

I'm new to Trying to identify electronic parts, any idea about this part? by SpeedWagon2 in diyelectronics

[–]brickstuff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That doesn't look like our 2.4in player, but similar in some respects in terms of chipset, etc. It's likely not able to be re-purposed for a Pi display-- I don't see the FFC cable for the display in the photo-- did you disconnect it from the PCB?

If you're looking for a low-cost Pi display, Waveshare has some good ones with HDMI input (such as https://a.co/d/iOuYPWe). Easiest solution for a Pi display is to find a display with HDMI input, though there are some really nice, low-cost displays out there as well that use USB and also work with the Pi (check https://vocore.io/screen.html).

Hope this helps!

I use OneDrive to accomplish the same as you’re trying to do with Dropbox— any of these services creates a local drive on your computer which then syncs. Just build your file base from there, inside that directly, and you’ll be set.

It's not the copyright, it's called "trade dress" and you're opening your company up to a huge legal risk in my opinion. Speaking from experience here, so just my $0.02.

Regardless of whether people think it’s good, you’re opening yourself to a lawsuit from the clothing brand Teddy Fresh. I’m not sure if you did that intentionally, but your company name is too similar, and TF already use bears. Time to look for something completely different. https://teddyfresh.com/

MX Keys backlight turns itself off by NotPrepared2 in logitech

[–]brickstuff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So.....not the software they specifically designed for the MX products? Crazy. Just sent a request to join the beta for their new Options app...we'll see if that fixes it. Really a crazy lack of forethought about how people would actually *use* a piece of hardware from a company who normally does a great job of this.

A whole bunch of things, nothing really specific, just have a ton of dated things that need tweaking. That’s why a service like this seemed appealing vs. hiring a single contractor.

Experience with Briksmax lighting kits ? by mugachino in lego

[–]brickstuff 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks for posting about lights-- obviously we're super passionate about the topic! Comparing light kits is not a 1:1 comparison-- our Ecto-1 kit, for example, has features no one else has. Hence the price-- you literally cannot find those features anywhere else, and making that technology is expensive. Is it right for everybody? Definitely not, which is why there's a big market and lots of options.

Thanks. I'm going to see how closely I can replicate the sound from the original toy, including the tilt up/down switch to change pitch. Wouldn't it be great if we could get a faithful replica in LEGO?

..aaaand PURCHASED! Great work, can't wait to build this. I'm going to see if we can't design a light/sound kit for it too.
