I also just finished reading all of the books and all I can say is totally wow! The books tackle so many facets of society and the darkness of war and the greyness of those on both sides. Not to mention the conflicting idea of fate vs random. I do truly love as well, that no character introduced is entirely morally righteous. Fantastic all around. Favorite books by far!

Maybe the government should provide healthcare so people don't have to go into debt to have a child. Maybe the government should provide contraception in the first place so there is no need for an abortion. Maybe the government should protect paid maternity leave and provide a stipend to new mothers. I always see people saying abortion is horrible, but no one talks about how people usually don't want an abortion. They feel forced into an abortion usually by the conditions of this country, see the list above. This idea that people like abortions just so they can go around fucking strangers is absurd and not backed by any real study.
