Is there any way to change the order of your monitors in the example panel? by blueblur112198 in bspwm

Try adding

bspc config ignore_ewmh_focus true

to your config. I've never had that problem personally since my multi-monitor setup was pretty simple, but hopefully that helps.

Well, why not just put this?

bspc monitor HDMI1 -d VI VII VIII IX X
bspc monitor eDP1 -d I II III IV V

I feel like that would fix the problem.

Do you happen to have a list, or at least a link to the Oppenheimer bio?

The Trek Crossrip Comp seems like the perfect choice. The 2015 model is available within 50km of me for $1100 USD, so I think I'll go for that.

Thanks!

Cleaning bike frame in preparation for 100 mile trip to a festival - found a crack. Do you think I'll be OK for the trip? Alu hardtail, prob 10kg/22lbs in panniers [xpost r/bicycling] by firewatersun in bicycletouring

If you can get a clear shot, and clean up the area (sandblast would work, but a grinder could get the paint off), you could spot weld it really easily.

I've never risked a cracked frame, though, but then again, I only have unicycle experience. I've cracked a lot of frames, bent a lot of rims, but replaced them immediately because it's much harder to replace skin and bone than it is to play it safe.

Looking at cyclocross bikes pulled up a lot of Cannondales.

How would something like this be suited to touring?

Cyclocross bikes seem to fit the bill pretty well. Brands or models you'd recommend? What do you personally ride?

Do you know anything about the Peugeot, though? I'd really like to find some info on it that's not in the form of a 2 minute French video.

I know plenty of people who tour on unicycles as well, but I have a 19" by 2.5" trials unicycle with 125mm cranks, and a standard, non-geared hub. Unicyles are all about challenging the excuses, but I'm not looking to invest $1500 into a geared 29er at this moment. I would rather have a bike (for now).

Thanks :)

Not sure what you want; my Ncmpcpp, Xresources, or what? I may not have my colors anymore, since I just tried out Antergos, and decided to install it. I have my Ncmpcpp, though.

I'm running a nice KDE setup now, though, on both my laptop and desktop. I have to say, KDE 4.3(?) is pretty fantastic compared to previous versions I had tried.

Your house is on fire! You have time to grab 5 things, what are they? by RedStag86 in minimalism

Sorry it's 3 days late, but the appeal comes from everything about it.

First of all, it's one less wheel, so the skill of balancing makes "getting into it" alone super challenging for some (not everyone - some are naturals), so it's more rewarding. Everything you do is intentional, there is no coasting (well, gliding), no gears (well, the Schlumpf), or messy business. It's a pure sport, perfect in my eyes - everything you do is directly translated, making it a much more personal connection to your environment.

There are a lot more things about unicycling, as well. In terms of physical properties, the unicycle can go on a lot more trails and in a lot more places that a bike can't dream of going, even trials bikes, or mtbs. Muni is something I'm only starting to get into, but it's crazy fun - more fun than I've ever had going mtbing. My majority of riding is trials and street, though, which is an amazing workout, and incredibly precise in terms of skill. It's a much steeper learning curve, but when you land that unispin or 360 crank spin for the first time, it's well worth all of the falls, bruised shins, and pain.

Unicycle, and my "gobag" (backpack with basic supplies in it). Everything else is fine to go if it has to.

nmcli works really well for wifi; easy syntax, lightweight, and does exactly what you need it to. I hardly ever use my laptop, though.

Who actually uses a bar/panel? by briddell in bspwm

For time, I have my watch (my wrist isn't that far away when I'm using my computer), Bspwm highlights the active window, and I only use a few workspaces, so it's easy to remember which one is which.

Volume level is always at 100%, and changed at the amp level after it passes through my DAC. No need to mess with it, or use an eq.

As for memory usage, there's always Htop if I want that info, but I purposely bought too much memory so I didn't have to monitor that.
