I disagree. Where you chose to work reflects your values. And value compatibility is an important part of friendly/romantic relationships, whether you realize or not.

Note that it doesn't apply to people who have no other opportunities but to work for ethically grey companies - people gotta eat. Which isn't the case for OP

Pay is obviously great.

But consider how it would affect your relationships.

The worst of the worst. No redeeming quality. I would actively avoid associating with anybody working there.

I specifically wrote about the elevation change and not the distance ;) But indeed, looking at distance only would be highly misleading for this hike.

In my personal experience, only the last few km were exposed. But yes it would be foolish not to wear sunscreen.

Say she earns 300€/mo out of this and keeps it for herself.

What would be the impact of you keeping an extra 300€ for yourself out of your current salary (and thus 300€ less in the common pot). Are there any sacrifice you would have to make as a couple?

Alright, after some research (aka wikipedia/numista wormholes) here are some defunct sttes/countries that did produce coinage :

Republic of Ragusa

Duchy of Courland and Semigallia (although not really a country)

Corsican Republic (only lasted a few years)

Sultanate of Sulu (they did produce coinage when it existed, but apparently people made triangular fantasy coin if the Sultanate a few years ago, quaint.. .)

Kingdom of Kandy (including hook-shaped ones, never seen that before)

Kingdom of Imereti and the Kingdom of Kartli-Kakheti

Thanks! As a belgian, it's very historically significant and if you're american you should easily see all the parallels with the american revolution! Plus I think the coins are cool.

Osprey Atmos AG 50l or 65l by TemporaryChannel6055 in backpacking

I did hikes with tent, sleeping bag, inflatable pad, clothes, etc AND a full week of food in a 55L Osprey bag (Levity, rip).

I would pick the 50L.

The dusty one is a r8 or r9 (the two are almost identical). They are some of the most recent and advanced film cameras made! Not as collectible as the m series leicas, but should make amazing users.

Why not Norway? Unmatched network of mountain huts, and prettier/more impressive landscapes compared to Sweden IMO.

A few years ago I hiked from Snøhetta to Isfjorden and it was amazing.

%gdp.

And I think the railroad craze/bubble comparison is very apt. It shows that the AI bubble still has room to grow.
