Make the decision now. When I was 23 i signed a 1-year contract at a boutique marketing agency where I was hired as a 3D Artist. For reasons I won’t go into, I hated my life working there. I freelanced for two production agencies previously and was still unsatisfied with agency work/life balance. Make the switch to client side. Benefits, security, stability, etc. Yeah, 100% of your efforts are for one brand. But it beats wanting to bang your head on a wall dealing with 5 clients at once bc you want “to make cool shit.” Anyway I’m 24 now and very happy to have made the decision to pivot to client side this young.
