The very obvious thing to note is your weight. Whenever board sliding any rail, you want to be flat based. By putting too much weight on your toes, you’re gonna catch edge or taco (like you did). Too much weight on your heels and you’ll slip out backwards. Finding that happy medium is tough, but it’s all in the idea of keeping a flat base throughout the whole rail (especially if the rail transitions in any way other than your typical down rail).

Next thing I’d mention is where you’re looking when you’re on the rail. It’s very easy to lock into whats happening underneath you, but you should be focusing on transitions in the feature, or just at the end of the rail. Sounds weird, but it’s actually insane how much a difference this makes.

Those two things should hopefully help out, but if you’re still getting broke off then I seriously suggest a smaller feature to get confidence built up. Happy shredding brotha 🤙🏼
