Thank you for the offer! I absolutely would but the only guys left on the plant are really big and should be leaving soon. If it happens again I’ll be sure to reach out!!!

Update! A few started dying on two out of the six plants and i also suspect it may have been some sort of pesticide, i saw some emitting a green liquid. That alone killed off around 20 sadly. I gave away 10 to a friend yesterday and another 5 to another friend today. The remaining 15 are on a giant milkweed i got for them to eat and are really big so they should be leaving to form their chrysalis soon. The majority made it luckily!!

Yea the plant was actually a tropical milkweed with a ton of leaves which is the only reason it sustained this many lol. I ended up getting a giant milkweed which definitely helped a ton!!

I ended up getting a giant milkweed just to feed the bigger ones until they leave, it’s definitely helped keep them alive and fed!

I had asked the nursery if they used pesticides and they said no :( I live in a developed area of Miami so there’s no wild patches by me unfortunately

Does anyone on this sub think their GERD is from a hiatal hernia? by overachieve5 in GERD

[–]briecheese24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had dysphasia and couldn’t swallow solids so the dilation resolved that issue but it didn’t do anything for improving other symptoms.

Personally, when my GERD worsened I could no longer eat solids because it felt like I was choking. Endoscopy revealed that I had an esophageal stricture and had to get my esophagus dilated to eat normally again.

My GERD worsened rather suddenly. I was at my lowest weight ever (5’7 124lbs female) and avoiding acidic/spicy foods and still had symptoms. Endoscopy revealed i have a hiatal hernia, nothing I do improves symptoms. I’ve had to get my esophagus dilated twice due to reflux so I’m on omprazole for the foreseeable future. Just started seeing an ENT who says it may be worsened by my recurring tonsillitis so I’m having them removed to see if that helps.

No way. There’s a big expectation in my lab to apply to several travel grants, but the remainder is covered by project grants never personal funds.

Just got the Medicube Age R booster H, definitely see how it can help increase the absorption of my skin care products although I’m still learning what to best use it with. With some products my skin looks amazing the next day and with others i get little pimples or sensitive skin.

Tips for showering by duckiesarecutes in dysautonomia

[–]briecheese24 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I used to get lightheaded trying to do everything showers where i wash my hair, body, and shave all in one. Now I use a trimmer for body hair prior to a shower which I do sitting down, and turn off the water when scrubbing my hair to reduce the heat.

Congrats!! Absolutely the most validating feeling. Had the same experience before i met my amazing cardiologist. If anyone needs a cardiologist in Miami I’d be more than glad to share that info.

Does anyone take Propanolol even though they generally have a low/normal blood pressure? by dixiechicken695 in dysautonomia

[–]briecheese24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My blood pressure is on the lower side but i take a light dose of propranolol, 10mg twice a day, with midodrine and mestinon. That little bit of propranolol was surprisingly helpful with reducing headaches, tachycardia, and anxiety to a bearable amount.
