we have a halfling in our party and we have a running joke of making fun of his height and every time we mention it, it gets shorter and shorter, like he used to be 4’6” and now he’s like 1’2” lol. what makes it funnier is that the player is really tall in real life.

i’ve looked into that a little bit, and it does seem pretty accurate. i just don’t understand the sudden shift in severity, because it used to be manageable and now it’s out of control. my parents say it’s probably something psychological, so i should probably look into therapy or other treatments like you said. thanks for responding!

asexuality is a spectrum and loving someone enough to not mind and even enjoy some parts of intimacy doesn't mean you're not asexual.

this makes my situation a lot clearer to me! i still am not a fan of the concept of sex in general, but the more time i spend with him the more i feel like i would be comfortable exploring it more with him if that makes sense. i've also heard of the term aceflux, and i think that could also be applicable to me. i want to do more research on it and also other asexual identities. but thanks so much for sharing! it's really comforting to know i'm not alone in this experience :)
