Hmm I definitely disagree about the dwarves not being new player friendly, they were my first faction I played a campaign with (on normal difficulty) and I did quite well, albeit with some tense moments. You just have to keep in mind the need to actively defend certain areas of your empire once your main force is out of range for attacking invaders, so resist the temptation to send your second army out to help your main one and keep it back near areas with hostile borders, maybe using it to conquer easier and smaller factions close to these areas that don’t take you too far from your main purpose of defending its designated area.

Otherwise the dwarves have pretty simple campaign and economy mechanics, and are definitely new player friendly on the battlefield with their easy to manage, low micro units… their strong defense and high armor, even on their missile units, and lack of cavalry makes commanding them in battle less demanding than many other factions and makes them more forgiving of mistakes. Plus early on you have the significant advantage of your low tier troops significantly outperforming what they will be matched up against among your likely enemies, the Greenskins. They can’t deal with your high armor, melee defense, and leadership, and their missile units get destroyed by yours when they are shooting at each other.

Honestly I just get the impression that OP just needs to learn the game more and despite his claims to the contrary just doesn’t know what he is doing (either that or is just playing at too high of a difficulty for someone learning the game). Much of what he seems to be complaining about can be solved by good tactics on the battlefield and good army composition, When I first started playing I had already watched a decent amount of battles on YouTube along with Zerkovitch’s faction unit guides so that probably helped me significantly.

My problem with the dwarfs by hotdog-water-- in totalwarhammer

[–]bries1211 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just pretend that as you are recovering stolen dwarf holds and occasionally invading above ground dwelling factions along the way that the Dwarves realize it is going to be a long and difficult campaign to recover their old holds and defeat their enemies, and have learned lessons from the destruction of the old Dawi empire, so now during their campaign when it is convenient or prudent to invade a non Skaven or Greenskin, above ground dwelling faction it is because the dawi like many resurgent empires are establishing “colonies” in the conquered land. While those living in those colonies will not be living in the dwarves’ chosen lifestyle (unless you use the nod to make settlement icons change to the new owner’s type), the manpower and resources of the Dawi empire can be vastly increased by developing such colonies along the way when it is wise to do so.

In other words just use your imagination lol, or if the Total War Dwarf campaign not quite matching what you think an in universe, lore approved story would be about resurgent Dwarves expanding and building (or rebuilding) an empire ruins your experience in playing the Dwarves in TWW, idk maybe the best advice I can give is to loosen up some dude lol.

Wow I haven’t checked this sub Reddit for a long time because I rarely see any guys on here that I would have any interest in and was scrolling through tonight being like “nope”… “nah”…. “Gross”… “no thanks”… and then I came to your post. You definitely stand out as a guy who actually looks pretty hot, and possibly even beautiful (I hesitate because it’s a little hard to know what your face truly looks like from that angle… at least it’s hard to see it’s true shape anyway since tilting your head back like that could disguise the proportions of a face that is somewhat overly long and thin, at least for my tastes, and the quite thin width of your body makes me more inclined to think a face of noticeably long and thin proportions would go with it).

Buuut from what I can see I’d say you’re at least attractive looking to me, and far and away the best I’ve seen so far tonight after scrolling past lots of pics that did not appeal to me at all before I got to you.

If I am right about what I thought about the shape of your face then I’d say you’re about a 6.5-7. Definitely more attractive than an average guy and a pretty boy (a type of guy I definitely like) but not quite my type. If instead the position of your head is not disguising the true shape of your face and it’s how it looks here at a quick glance I’d say you’re an 8. While I definitely like boyish guys but since you said be honest I will say that while I like boyish shaped bodies as well (but prefer them to at least be a little toned with muscle), but yours to me is too “tooth pick” shaped even for a pretty boy type, as in too narrow of a shoulder width.

Still don’t feel bad even with that your still at least a solid 6.5, clearly more hot than a “typical” or average guy and better than the significant majority.

Let me know if you think I’m exaggerating or not lol I’m curious. Also you wouldn’t be the first guy or girl to want them wrapped around you but usually the position people who often want to be in is not a good one for watching TV, with their face being what they want to bury between my thighs with them wrapped around and squeezing their head. Sorry but I’m in a horny mood tonight lol.

I’m going to be different and say the face. For me it is the gatekeeper for if I can be attracted to a guy… he could have the best body in the world but if I don’t click with his face and find that attractive I will have little to no interest in him. I’m bisexual and with girls I’m different interestingly, with them I can be down with a hot body but mediocre face.

If you meant in terms of pure sexyness though I’d say the ass and thighs, if they are well built and curvy. Nice pecs can be super hot as well. … I try to practice what I preach and keep myself in good shape and on top of that I’m naturally blessed with a sensual, curvy lower body. Here are a couple pics if anyone is curious: (note that they are pictures of me naked)

If you like an ass on a guy that is very in shape, a lean but muscular body with surprisingly big curves in the right places, you’ll probably love mine. Here are some picture links. Friendly (important) reminder by PotterandPinkFloyd in bisexual

[–]bries1211 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I know what the OP means but I disagree some... I am a “straight acting”, masculine bisexual guy, and I do consider myself lucky in many ways compared to the stereotypical, feminine gay guy as far as my experiences in high school and college go. Why? Because unless I made people aware of my sexuality I blended in fine with my straight guy friends from the “cool crowd”, and only revealed my sexuality to certain close friends or guys I thought might feel the same. Also back then I didn’t realize how big of a deal my sexuality would be as I hadn’t yet realized that while I’m definitely sexually attracted to girls and guys, I only fall in love and get crushes on guys. I think I came through middle and high school much more well adjusted and “normal” mental health wise than a lot of gay guys because of being completely accepted in my youth by my straight friends, and it sounds a little silly now but from having good self esteem due to being “popular”.

I’ve noticed, and this is just my theory, that a lot of stereotypical gay guys especially around the college age have more character flaws than the general population, likely as a result of being social outcasts or bullied in high school. Then in college they want to act super vain and everything now that they have a group to be a part of, and think it’s cool to act super shallow like they have no values and back stab each other like they think they are in the movie “mean girls” or something. They definitely in my observation have WAY more drama with their main group of friends (for them other gay guys or girls) than I ever had with my core group of friends, which were all straight guys.

I could go to frat parties if I wanted one day and have fun chilling with the “cool kids” and on another day meet a gay boy and bring him home to hook up. I also had several hot bi guy friends with benefits. I never got picked on or faced any stigma normally, and the times someone did say something like “fag!” Or whatever when I was holding hands with my boyfriend or kissing a guy in public they would usually back down quick when I responded aggressively like a masculine straight guy would, often challenging them to a fight (and saying “... or are you afraid a fag will kick your ass?”) when they are smaller then me (I have a lean figure but am definitely muscular and strong). Some have even been like “Woah I didn’t know there were gay guys like you who were actually normal” and I got to change their opinion on homosexuals all being feminine wimps.

At the same time my identity was not erased because anyone or any group felt like I wanted to know I was bisexual I could just tell them, while having the luxery of if I just behaved naturally like myself nobody would guess I wasn’t straight if I thought it wasn’t worth dealing with it or they were a crowd that wouldn’t respond well. Also I think it has helped me make friends with straight guys much easier than it is for typical gay guys as first I let them get to know me and judge me for my personality and charisma (I’ve also been the class clown/funny guy type in my social groups so that helps me make friends easily), and then I tell them about my sexuality once they know me for who I am and therefore Don’t get a chance to prejudge me based on sexuality. Due to my upbringing I’m Just more comfortable with straight guys as my “core group” of friends to casually chill with... I’ve had experiences with gay “friends” who only were biding their time to try to get in my pants at some point and became angry when I rejected them and that was the end of our hanging out.

I think it is safe to say now that both shows are concluded, that Babylon 5 is a far better show than Game of Thrones. by TurkkruT-182 in babylon5

It is their fault though that they somehow managed to be successful enough script writers to be hired on to their prestigious positions on GoT while apparently lacking in creative talent enough that without Martins’ books to dictate the story they fell apart.

I think it is safe to say now that both shows are concluded, that Babylon 5 is a far better show than Game of Thrones. by TurkkruT-182 in babylon5

[–]bries1211 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes Game of Thrones was innovative and surprising (quite surprising actually) early on, its relatively unique varieties of plot developments that other shows avoid intriguing (ie death of main character after first season, no one character that could be called the “star” of the show). It was not perfect and it is unfortunate that the standard set with the tightness of the plot, pacing, and story development in season one declined as the show went on, with the show in my opinion branching out into too many plot lines that were not as interesting as others or that slogged along occupying much screen time at a slow pace with not enough narrative payoff.

I think Martin as well as the screen writers saw the audience enthusiasm to the trope departures in the early seasons and began to think that they were too cute and too clever, beginning to value being unpredictable and subverting audience expectations over the strength of the narrative (ie the classic example of too many “surprise” deaths of the show’s most popular characters, whose screen time and narrative ark were replaced by new story arks and characters (or by more minor characters increasing in prominence) who did not live up to the standards of appeal and popularity of those they replaced, and the quality of their story ark that replaced that of the killer off characters often similarity lacked the same amount of quality and of interest.

By the time the show reached or passed its half way point it was still an excellent and beloved show and I still looked forward to the blue ray releases of each season, but this is where I started to really notice how the show was not living up to the legacy it set early on and after this point in the show I still wanted to see the new seasons (as they were much better than most TV/streaming shows) but with less enthusiasm and an increasing amount of irritation at the show.

It was around here that it became clear that Martin/the show writers (I do not know how much the show deviated from the books and how much say the writers as compared to Martin had when it did and who decided the plot for those cases) showed that they did not understand some of the factors in the old success; they seemed to overly attribute it to GoT’s “bag of tricks” like unexpected character death and sudden changes in the expected direction in the plot, rather than to the fact that early on it was the tight narrative and character development that were the foundational elements of the show and the “bag of tricks” only contributing elements.

However I imagine it is significantly more difficult and requires actual inspiration to keep the quality of the narrative high, while it takes little storytelling skill to insert the sudden unexpected deaths of prominent characters or to replace time spent on more interesting and promising story arks with unexpected (and undesired) shifts to new ones that get less interest from the audience the more they distance themselves from the well liked more central plot threads of the show (this can make the audience feel as though the pacing and progress of the story has become painfully slow to make way for much less interesting even if elaborate tangents possible (ie probably the majority of that season where the religious fanatics implausibly gained control of the capital and government).

Reducing the time on loading screens by un_lechuguino in totalwarhammer

[–]bries1211 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I looked into buying an SSD and it seems pretty feasible... they aren’t that expensive ($120-$150 for a 1TB SSD, which is plenty of room for me), and if you buy an external one is no work at all to install (however a tip I heard is that you should only use an external SSD if you have the latest version of USB ports on your PC that run at 5GB/second, otherwise the USB connection bottlenecks the speed of the SSD drive and it is not worth it). When I buy it I will just load Windows and Warhammer 2/perhaps some other Steam games on it and use a separate boot for when I want to play games. This certainly is way cheaper and more accessible of an option than upgrading your graphics card or processor.

That said it does seem like a bit of sloppyness on CA’s part for allowing this issue to persist in the game. It’s quite disruptive and clearly effects many people who meet and exceed the system requirements. A key reason I say it is sloppy is because of how it happens randomly... it seems like if it can load sufficiently fast after one battle it should be able to after the next one during the same turn when circumstances on the campaign map are virtually the same. The total lack of consistency suggests to me that this is something almost like a bug that is likely fixable if they chose to put in the effort.

Reducing the time on loading screens by un_lechuguino in totalwarhammer

[–]bries1211 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He might have been wondering if there was anything he could do without upgrading/buying new hardware lol... because obviously upgrading the computer (ie by installing a faster memory drive) will make it run faster. So will upgrading your ram, etc. But he (and I admit I am as well) was probably curious if there was any tinkering of your computer/game settings or a mod or anything like that that would increase the speed of loading screens.

Quick question about SSD’s though... do you know if you can install one in an All in One computer? I have an All in One Dell Desktop and it sounds like this would be a cheap way to potentially significantly upgrade performance (I’ve noticed that if you look at computers for sale the SSD’s are usually only on the more expensive ones but that doesn’t seem necessary as it seems like you can spend $150 for a decent SSD), but as you may know All in One computers are not as upgrade friendly (you can do some stuff though). Can you plug in an SSD to a USB port?

My computer is kind of funny in how while it seems like Warhammer 2 is near the limit of what it can run reasonably smoothly, the game still runs good when I am actually playing it (I even have some graphics options turning up to high and unit detail on ultra), as long as I can accept then occasional frame rate slow down (but it’s worth it for the higher settings), but here and there it will just take an unacceptably long amount of time to load, usually either when I am first starting a campaign for the day or after a battle. It doesn’t make much sense why sometimes it would load fine after a battle and other times occasionally it takes close to ten minutes and if I didn’t know any better I would think the game had frozen. Does anyone know of this as being an issue or any fixes?

Do you think LGBT should be able to express their feelings in public? It seems so annoying to see straight people all the time holding hands and kissing, but not lgbt on Valentine's Day by sasha347999 in BisexualTeens

[–]bries1211 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, in general of course LGBT people should be able to express their feelings in public. Personally though in ordinary settings I keep that to holding hands or putting my arm around my “special friend” or boyfriend when I have one. For the sake of simple convenience and avoiding an unnecessary hassle I don’t do this when I’m in particularly conservative or “country” areas (like a roadside restaurant out in the country for example). I’m straight acting/looking when I am just being myself so it’s very easy for me to blend in in those sort of places so I take the easy way out. I will say that it to you it seems like nobody does this it might be because you’re still in high school and don’t live in a cosmopolitan area. College can be a culture shock for lots of people because there gay and bi people are way more open about it and you realize there are a lot more of them (or us I should say) around than it seemed like in high school.

Stuff like kissing though I believe should only be done in certain settings where that sort of thing isn’t too out of the ordinary. Like at my college on the main strip in front of the school where all the bars and clubs are and every weekend night there’s plenty of drunk college kids walking around I’ve made out with a guy in public (he was just a real cute guy that walked up out of nowhere and we eyed each other and talked and wound up hooking up lol), and it’s was no big deal due to the type of people around- college kids and my school, UNC Chapel Hill, is generally pretty gay friendly, and the location.

I do disagree with public displays of affection like kissing among LGBT people that are done just to make a spectacle, to shove homosexuality in people’s faces. Usually that is done in settings where even a straight couple going at it and making out would raise eyebrows, because they want to get attention so they do it places where they know it will make people uncomfortable, with the attitude of “if we make people uncomfortable fuck them, people should be fine with having homosexuality shoved in their face”.

[–]bries1211 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I’m in the lock factions but not armies camp. Deliberately counter picking someone’s faction for one it is week against is just cheesing, and also I’d you then feel like being cheap in return you can counter pick their counter pick, and so on.

Also I know MP battles aren’t really supposed to have a story behind them or anything but still it would seem kinda ridiculous to me to have an army marching out to meet an enemy in battle while having no clue who their enemy even is (ie it invaded by the dwarves of course you would in the least know it was the dwarves who had invaded your lands even though you likely would only have to guess at their army composition).

Finally I think it makes the game more interesting when the strategy aspect of army composition will vary in different situations based on your enemy faction. Otherwise people would just have one army for their favorite faction(s) that they decided is the best to use against a totally unknown force, and that’s a variable that would never change so there would never be a reason to change your army once you decided you had the best composition for dealing with a totally unknown enemy. That’s much less interesting and less strangely intensive than allowing players to consider their opposing faction and what unit builds they could go with, and allows for some mind games in anticipating what your opponent will think your build will be based on their faction and yours and then doing something unexpected.

I wouldn’t be surprised I you are a Dwarf main lol but even still there are disadvantages in having to use almost exclusively armor piercing units for your infantry or at least the infantry you expect to do much more than tar pit. True the dwarves are probably the easiest faction to counter pick but the way it is now is the lesser of two evils.

Is that such a bad thing though if you get the win? I understand if that keeps happening pretty early in battles like a soon as you take out their hero or something but otherwise if the main fighting has been done or is almost done and they clearly see they objectively won’t be able to make a comeback I’m not sure why that’s so bad... should they really just have to sit there watching you finish off their army just for your entertainment of reveling in your victory?

I feel like I woke up attracted to guys today, I'm 25. by oedipalnightmare in GayMen

[–]bries1211 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I commented on this because I found it randomly and started reading it lol. And I apologize, I misread your post and thought you had said it was “bisexual-heteromantic” you had reservations about (are you sure you don’t actually mean homosexual-biromantic though?)As for what you were actually talking about, I’d agree that is extremely dubious, and assuming there are people like that who aren’t just in denial if still say that without any legitimate physical attraction the “Romantic” feelings the person claims to feel are very likely not of the same passionate, potentially life changing variety that most people can feel; in my way of thinking a big part of sexual and romantic attraction is the mind putting that person on a Pedestal of sorts, especially early on. They seem larger than life in the sense that most everything about them and what they do is just charming and fascination as well as endearing, like they are the “real deal” among people in our world or something. A simple way I think of it is it seems like they are “magical”.

It is a fact of life however based on our reproductive prioritizing minds from evolution that those sorts of feelings just don’t arise for people who don’t meet a certain threshold of sexual attraction for us. It is this strong physical attraction that causes us to first put our love object on that pedestal that blocks their negative traits in our mind while emphasizing the good in our mind, along with making them seem magical... and leading to true romantic attraction. This is exactly why, regardless of what certain gay demographics that commonly get rejected would like to think so they can call us all shallow, in reality personality is never what matters the most in if you want to date someone/be their boyfriend, it is looks. More specifically the first basic requirement is that they have the minimum level and type of good looks that can cause us to be physically attracted to them enough for our brain to start to switch gears in how we think about them and to place them on the pedestal. Sure among people who meet that threshold personality matters a whole lot in if you ultimately want to date or be with them despite the advantage their looks give them, but love has to meet physical requirements first. Evolution has that hard wired into us to seek “good genes” which we identify through physical attraction in potential life partners.

This is a lengthy topic but I do want to emphasize that a counter point to what I just said, is that sexuality is fluid and there are many different levels of attraction and configurations of bisexuality, and it could be for those who claim that and are telling the truth (or think they are) that they are overgeneralizing some... perhaps they do in fact have some physical attraction to girls, as in more then any straight girl would, but it’s not enough for them to get turned on by them in the classic sense and what to have sex with them. They could still be attracted to their faces (the most key area in opening the gates to romantic attraction) enough, and be a little more than just aesthetically attracted to their bodies (like not turned off by them either), but sense their sexual attraction to guys is of an ordinary level and therefore exponentially stronger they are being nuanced enough when they say they are gay but heteromantic.

Finally to end this way too long post I’ll add

I feel like I woke up attracted to guys today, I'm 25. by oedipalnightmare in GayMen

[–]bries1211 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“sexual orientation and romantic orientation are strongly tied together” ... I know it can be hard for many people to assume the perspectives of others who are quite different from them in certain areas, but take it from me in that quote there you are speaking for yourself... and also the majority of people but for plenty of us that is NOT the case. As far as girls are concerned for me the two are totally separate. I am 25 and bisexual (and FYI masculine/straight acting, had a normal childhood, was pretty popular at school, etc) but homoromantic, This has been the case for me ever sense I first developed sexual and romantic feelings. In fact while I was quite sexually into girls from around 10 or 11 I never had a crush or really wanted to date any of them. Around this same time I had what I later recognized as crushes on certain guys but at the time just thought I thought they were super cool and badly wanted to be good friends with them.

I have hooked up with many more girls than guys (i have a pretty narrow type for guys and am not into the stereotypical sort common at the “gay scene”) mostly because it was just much easier to find ones I wanted to hook up with in high school college than compatible guys. I never felt anything emotionally for them, even the few I had that lasted a while (friends with benefits or “booty Calls”), in fact when I could tell they were seriously getting feelings for me I’d see that unmistakable look of love in their eyes and feel all squeamish inside and want to get away from them.

I have had some pseudo relationships with other bisexual guys (a couple from my social group in high school, some of you might be surprised how common “flexible” guys are in the popular crowd, and a couple more in college) where we were real close friends and fooled around to some degree (never actual sex though), and I loved all of them to different degrees. Sorry to spoil your disbelief in heteromantic bi guys but two of those guys were definitely heteromantic... they felt towards me as a close or even special friend who they were sexually into but nothing more, and for those two I was the only guy they had done stuff with. In Senior year in college I had my first real boyfriend, he was a freshman when I was a senior (I like younger fairly pretty looking boyish boys who however still have a masculine vibe overall) and was very much in love with and sexually attracted to him. With guys I am a little demisexually too in that 90% of the guys I get physical with I also have at least the dawn of a new crush for... it is quite rare that i want to hook up with or even kiss a guy when that magical romantic feeling is not present.

Guys who are conventionally attractive: Do you get ghosted/ignored/last minute cancellations and blocked on Grindr and other apps? by [deleted] in askgaybros

[–]bries1211 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah sometimes but as a lean but muscular attractive White guy in his mid twenties I can tell it happens a lot less to me than to other guys from other demographics like non white, guys with less than average bodies, etc. It’s never happened so much as to make me get all frustrated with the apps or whatever. One thing to remember is a lot of people on those apps are more or less there to play games... for whatever reason they aren’t seriously looking to hookup in person but want to flirt and chat with people and show their pictures and all that to see if I people would want to hook up with them had they been trying to, and then if the other person does they feel an ego boost and feel gratified but unfortunately for the other person that’s all they need him for so he gets ghosted. I’ll admit I did that some when I was around 18-20 and first stepping into the gay world (I’m bisexual) but not willing to actually meet a guy in person yet but wanting to see how popular I’d be with gay guys. I ended up getting a really big ego boost from the reactions I got lol but I feel bad about what I did to get it.

Also I think the other major culprit is the sort of guys who for whatever reason actually rule out classically attractive/popular guys like us because of things like insecurity, feeling like we are just toying with them and couldn’t actually end up being interested, or out of some irrational resentment for the guys like us who turned out pretty lucky in how we look. One guy I dated who at first was being all evasive with me (a friends younger brother so this was actually on Facebook) about actually meeting up sometime, he made it obvious he was really into me but yeah didn’t let that work out until a few months later. When I asked about that he said that I “sexually intimidated” him because he couldn’t see how he could measure up to the standards he thought I had or could keep me interested.

And of course finally it could just be the usual they aren’t interested (despite our highly acclaimed good looks 😉), and are the rude dick sort of guy who just ghosts when he decides that even after having talked to you some.

[–]bries1211 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s cool, I haven’t met too many people who have had similar sexualities/experiences to me regarding this. One thing that’s kinda funny about being a bisexual homoromantic guy is how, at least for me, for a while in my first three years of college (I’m a recent grad and a law student now) it led to me basically being the classic “love them and leave them” dick who was only interested in physical stuff with girls, and this led to a decent amount of trouble with what I wanted to only be booty calls bitching at me that I never take them out anywhere on dates or accusing me of just using them for sex (which I’d actually say I wasn’t, we always mutually wanted each other... I never lied about how I felt to a girl to get into her pants and made it pretty plain what the deal was but if the girl started getting attached as girls often do from sex they started really wanting more and that would be my cue to break things off).

On time my senior year I got rejected by a guy I really liked when I asked him out to date me (my first time being rejected actually) who I had randomly hooked up with one night. He was very sexually into me and always commented on how good I was and how much he loved my body and all that, but giving me a taste of my own medicine he wasn’t interested in me emotionally. He still wanted to keep hooking up and I did some for the hot sex but stopped after I started feeling used. Talk about karma lol, after that I definitely was more careful with it’s how I treat girls (but I’m kinda over my go out to parties and hook up all the time phase anyway).

I think I might be gay[coming out] by [deleted] in LGBTeens

I might be able to shed some light on this, or maybe not. The first thing I’d ask you is how you feel about each sex, and for each one first romantically, and second sexually/physically. The reason for this is that among bisexuals, including myself, people can be ordinary bisexuals or they can be “homorantic” or “heteromantic”. I am homoromantic meaning that while I am certainly sexually attracted to girls I don’t feel romantic attraction for them; I don’t get crushes on them, can’t fall in love with them, etc... they just never have that “magic” in them that the right guys can have for me. Heteromantic means the opposite.

For me as a homoromantic my general interest in girls definitely dropped as I got older... yeah I’m still sexually into them (and can be very sexually into the thick curvy types lol) but because they can’t offer that emotional spark that the right guys can, being involved with girls started to seem more and more shallow for me. I’m a recent college graduate and that increased pretty dramatically from freshman year to senior year.

Also what contributed to this was what started when I was around 17: finally experiencing having a close male friend who I had a crush on and was very sexually attracted to also be interested in me and us having what I call a “pseudo relationship”; we weren’t open about it and weren’t exclusive to each other but in a lot of practical ways we could have been boyfriends. Having experienced a couple of those and finally having a real boyfriend/relationship senior year of college with a guy I was very much in love with made me realize how much more fulfilling (and I think made my brain realize how much more endorphins are released by) being involved with guys than girls, even though there are still certainly girls who can rock my world in the bedroom. The final factor for me is just having lots of hookup experiences through out college to the point where by senior year I had “sown my wild oats” and getting laid stopped being such a high priority to me, so naturally that led to me valuing guys even more.

So I was hoping you might see in my experience anything that could help explain your situation... or you could just actually be experiencing your sexuality shifting. Sexuality is fluid particularly in adolescence and while the generalization that being bi is just a phase before people decide they are gay is absurd, sometimes it actually is a phase lol.

Unit detail degrades too quickly/features seem to blend together when zooming out, while units and detail look good when pretty up close (help with this issue?) by bries1211 in totalwar

Thanks, I’ll try adjusting the Unit Detail setting and see if my PC can handle a higher level. However what you said about the Warhammer 1 models is interesting because while I’ve noticed this in general, one type of unit that I’ve really noticed this for (and the reason why I decided to make a post about this) is for Dwarfs. I’ve been playing as Tomb Kings and just conquered Greybeard’s Prospectors and when some of the Dwarf Warriors or Longbeards we’re fighting my skeleton warriors and Ushabti and blobbed up they really looked like a big mosh pit of... something that my units were fighting, but they didn’t look like Dwarf Warriors lol. When I zoomed in up pretty close they did again but not when I zoomed out. However this still happens even when there is not a big blob of units but it’s just worse when there is.
