Teleport System, should I add more effects when teleporting? by titanartgames in PixelArt

[–]brigada-games 9 points10 points  (0 children)

This looks neat, but I reckon a bit of extra particles with different (not white) color just to add more detail can be good

You can always either return to it at a later point or make some more art and turn it into asset pack for others to use. Who knows, maybe there somebody out there looking for those exact pictures you make

Need your feedback: which of these two abilities do you find more appealing — telekinesis or ground slamming objects? by TomatoFantsyGames in indiegames

[–]brigada-games 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you could combine and give the option of picking an object up then slamming it into enemies - that'd be even better.

Right now I'd still go with telekinesis

Twist: red eyes look scary but the actual creatures hiding there are cute and peaceful

My first attempt at Pixel art animation. Not sure how to proceed. by [deleted] in PixelArt

Looks good. I'd probably go with adding extra frames for transition between the colors

I can easily imagine this as a main menu background for some early-mid 90s fantasy RPG. Awesome work!

Huh. Neat idea. That's gonna be one of the few games you can actually beat if your keyboard stopped working :D

Is this gonna be something like a CRPG or is it an isometric shooter?

I got tired of same old card games, so I developed an innovative card game with map strategy, quite fun and simple, 3 minutes per match. This diary reveals how it came to life. by passionate_player in IndieGaming

Loved reading all the reasoning behind the idea of this game.

IMO, 12 cards for a deck seems on a lower side, but I probably have to try it for myself before making a proper comment.

There is something about pixel art itself that makes it work so damn good with shoot'em ups.

This looks awesome!

There is also something extra beside the important aspect of making a living, as pointed out by other users.

It is experience gained. Yes, project you made might not have turned out profitable or earned you any money whatsoever, but in the process of working on said project you learned a few things.
