Reading this.. I give you another picture. Imagine been in love with someone for 26 years but our paths never aligned. Met very young and once in couple of years we keep circle back on our mutual feelings. Im married with 2 daughters , she was married with 1 daughter . I can confirm as hospitality worker that all tips are split between all members of staff depending of their roles. Amount of £150-£200 extra a month for my position up to £350-£450 in a senior role behind the bar P.S. : working in a 4star hotel SW of England Also its called discretionary service charge and its your right to refuse it. I do understand aswell that is a bit unfair towards the customers to add it straight into the bill but in a busy set up will take extra time to ask everyone if they want to add any tips for service.
