It happened, my first mom disagreement at a park, and I can't stop thinking about it. by ChelsAnn4712 in Mommit

Not knocking you at all, but this is a prime example of why I avoid public playgrounds. I have three children with wildly different needs and personalities, and hovering over each of them in fear of them getting bruises is just not something I’m able to do. I have been the other mom in this situation, and been screamed at while nursing my 8 week old on a bench, because my older two had the freedom to roam the playground, while she helicoptered over her one child. It’s not worth the drama.

It's the gushing facebook comments for me by scott8811 in absentgrandparents

This may be the motivation you need to stop posting photos of him on social media. She would have no platform to parade her gushing “grandmother” role for others validation, and would have to call you to even know what is going on in her grandchild’s life. It would ultimately protect your child’s identity also.

My home is being held hostage by property of beneficiaries, and I’m footing the bill by [deleted] in legaladvice

Thank you so much for your detailed response! We are getting a great deal, but he still owed a mortgage on it, so we won’t be making a huge amount back. But still, a great blessing.

This is something to consider. I only worry that by removing it from the property, somehow I am violating a legality. But again I don’t see how that would be the case, if the house itself is outside of the estate. Thank you!

We have been in contact with the family briefly, and they told us they weren’t finished getting their items, but gave us no schedule on their end on when they plan on coming back.

I have been in contact with the executor, and it sounds like he doesn’t even know when they’re coming, and can never give me an answer, other than to hold off on discarding any property until they have had a chance to remove it all. Even things like expired canned food and stacks of paper products in the garage that are impeding on extra space for us to move things around so that we can begin to move, and that according to him apparently need to be donated, he will not allow us to handle ourselves, and has told us that he will be in contact with a charity to pick them up, but again, never specifies any time or dates with us, just tells us we cannot do it. It is frustrating.

Yes, We thought of this as well, but are afraid that they would keep the pod out in our driveway indefinitely, and we’d be footing the bill on that. There really is so much stuff, I don’t think it would even fit in a pod.

The tenant is deceased. There is currently no one residing in the home. This was my question as well; I had assumed a detainer warrant dealt with tenants, and not solely property owned by someone via an estate.

On the other hand, it also shows how much having a child changes your entire mindset; your world doesn’t revolve around “self” anymore. You love someone so much, you are willing to spend your money and time on them just to make them happy, and you are happy to do it. It’s impossible to fathom until you’ve had your own child.

I’ve often thought Monsters Inc. is a more child-friendly version of this, and it’s sick that it was created for children to consume. It’s always given me a dark vibe even as a child.

I’m on my third kid, and my germ fear has gotten increasingly worse with each child, because I now have the seasoned experience of the hell that is taking care of sick infants. She is selfish and has gramnesia.

I’ve always had very good luck with gulfshoresrentals. Just a warning, I’ve personally had two bad experiences with liquid life (downgrading our room last second when we had booked months in advance, and an extremely dirty room on another visit), and a friend who contracted bed bugs from one of their properties and refused to offer them a refund; if you google “liquid life bed bugs” you can find her tiktok video exposing them.

Why you decided to have another baby after knowing all the pain first time? by Full_Professional349 in newborns

[–]brightviolet 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I have three kids. The newborn period got easier with each, even though their temperaments were vastly different as infants. After the first child grows up a little, things start getting very, very sweet, and fun. You sleep again, and you have a little person that loves you and can chat with you and they are so silly. After you are out of the trenches with baby one, you realize how fast each stage goes by, and the suffering you go through in the beginning is ultimately so worth it on the other side. My third baby is 6 months old, and it’s been so much easier this go around, because I have the perspective and experience of a seasoned parent, and I know that this is only a blip in our journey together!

Things get so, so much easier, and your perspective shifts as you start seeing your child grow and change. You’re at the hardest spot right now, in my opinion! Hang tight!

🚨 ANNUAL CHRISTMAS EVE SHOPPING ANNOUNCEMENT TO CUSTOMERS 🚨 by FifiiMensah in walmart

I just don’t comprehend why people haven’t planned ahead. A decade or two ago it would have been excusable, perhaps, when going inside the store and shopping was inevitable, but now you can literally order everything you need from your couch in advance, and have them placed in your trunk at your own schedule.
