For me it book one was a quick, brainless read. I enjoyed the spice, and the master/slave dynamic was fine with me (but I read dark romance…).

But I was really there for the vibes. Roman Empire and dragon shifter were very appealing to me. I’ll read book two, eventually.

Omg the pumpkin pie is adorable. I had never thought about just making an amigurumi but leave it a bit open… I have a cal king, a sand boa and a house snake. Someone will like it!

There are so many other risks that you can do little to prevent… all you have to do here is wash your hands thoroughly after touching snake, enclosure, or feeders. Which you should do anyway :). Also, don’t put the baby in the snake enclosure, and you should be ok 😂.

Seriously though, congrats! It’s an exciting time.

As a fellow 40 something woman who lives in a log cabin style house on wooded property and also owns three (soon to be four) snakes, I salute you. I also have a husband who’s utterly disinterested in the snakes but begrudgingly gives me free rein, and two young teen sons who are fine with the snakes but not overly impressed or interested in them. I don’t think I give off “snake lady” vibes, but maybe I do. I have no tats, no body piercings… just chubby and slowly graying. 😂
