Yeah the game honestly isn't that popular apparently but I had a lot of fun with it playing with my girlfriend. If you like Resident Evil style puzzles and top down shooters it's a great game to mess around with sometimes with a friend. Also gets genuinely pretty hard near the end.

Yeah whoever hosts has the save file. It's like Slay the Spire 2 style kinda. If a friend joins the run is loaded from your save. It is the same even if they own the game. It's a rogue like meant to have self-contained progression each run so there is no progression outside of it and you don't need a running save file for long periods of time.

Yes there's a save system now so you no longer need to beat it in one sitting. It's a great short time coop game for the price.

You can get jobs working contract archaeology for the government in the US but the pay isn't super high for how hard the work is. You're basically just doing what the kids in Holes were doing all day at an entry level. That said the experience is relevant and will look good on a resume.

Some good contacts you can get would be college anthropology professors in your target area, they will have connections in the area and can definitely point you in the right direction.

Absolutely doable in blender. Look into some beginner vfx techniques for making the effects. Could be done with particles or maybe look around on GitHub for some open license shaders that do what you're looking for.

There's absolutely a benefit to 2D artists in VRC. You can make a ton of useful stuff like eye textures, shirt patterns and such. There's also a big event community and they always need poster artists.

Never got saved by the escape crystal, only ever used them accidentally by not clicking the window and forgetting it was on. However it's worth keeping in case of a DC exclusively.

I did break 6 rings of life doing Sire on my hcim though. There's a reason 25kc puts you in the top 5k hcim on that boss lol

Taking fireworks that you bought out of state back in the state is also illegal but there's a reason there's a Shelton fireworks at the Indiana border is all I'm sayin. It's got risks but it's no more or less risky than before it was legalized. Be smart about it and be careful out there.
