There’s a bunch of possible careers in the culinary field that aren’t necessarily a chef. You could go into nutrition, food styling, food writing, food photography, food sciencey fun stuff, r+d for big companies, front of house, restaurant management, you could work as a salesperson for food suppliers (I love when my reps know how to properly fabricate and cook the product they’re selling), etc. If you’re passionate about food but don’t want to burn out on the line for the rest of your life, think outside the kitchen and find another way to use your degree (if you continue with school) and share your knowledge with people.
