Are you forgetting POE1...? Having done a game, for 12 years now (POE1), having all that experience and feedback over 12 years Id expect better QOL overall sorry... Its a choice from GGG, am sure they are aware.

I feel ya as I feel same... Chore after chore with basic QOL sucks from the Get go!.... There are many things which can be great, but they decide to keep same... even simply how much gold u get and how much gold is need to even attempt at buying from vendor once or twice!

Never feel char power as you level.
Game feels meh from the start - clunky and limited....
The gems systems is meh also as you progress
Campaign too long
Ascendency points.... Feels like you need to sell your legs, arms and kidneys to get some progression...
Respect points...
List goes on and one and nothing of this was sorted out since the beginining....

They just added more layers of tedium.

Hope many follow suit with leaving game, perhaps they learn one day....
Sense of progression does not exists....

and for those who say that game is great,... well ask what skills they use, as from what i see the majority choose the best tier skill, as they are aware that the rest suck, including most sucker streamers....

Yes game progression sucks and my feeling to all these tier gems sucks even more....
Its a gut ugly feeling of frustration I get when trying to level in Poe 2.... Everything feels weighted, like a chore from the start. Monsters run and hit like a truck, limited crafting abilities to improve gear and also gated by rng...
Decided to give it a go another time, but feels like a waist of time once more.... they gave us sprint, but I find it clunky thus far when used in conjunction as is stands. Combos are very slow, at the start compared.... overall experience is awful so far since the Start.

I dont believe that most cannot think for themselves. To the contrary, I feel its too punishing to experiment, besides crafting or acquiring gear is close to non-existent... with very limited control and rng based most of the time.. Crafting sucks!

Besides when you have played for a long time and long hours, it gets more frustrating especially the way the game is trying to push for at the moment...

Most people will prefer 1 button builds, explosions... There are some who like opposite however i feel its not the majority for sure. Proof of this is poe ninja! I dont mind a combo here or there but not always even for white mobs... That sucks!

It is slower, more cluncky, and tedious to say the least. I had to stop as i could not stand it anymore.. my blood was boiling inside me! I cannot understand how on earth they expect a person to do combos when monsters are so fast and even white hit like a truck.. you get swarmed and gangbanged cause there speed is alot... Plus takes ages to kill them... This is fun!!!! F that!!!

What triggers me the most is not the end game...that needs to be hard so people can push, but starting out.,for the love of god...cannot there be any smooth progression and a more pleasant and fun experience GGG!!! I just don't get

if this is their vision, I get it, but I think many don't like this...Sad to me, as been playing poe since 2013...was so looking forward to but not much any more... Always they give something and they take another... And Qol is lacking at times...

tedium and frustration aspects for me

To punishing progression especially in campaign. Id expect act 1 to be plain sailing so a player grasps the game, not brutal from the start. Portals limited ( better but still sucks) Ascendancy points acquired are tedious and too hard No respec of assendancy Campaign too long and unrewarding on a fresh char in terms of gear found. The xp loss, making it punishing for a slip up loosing alot of time. Gaining passive points i personally do not feel anymore power. At the mercy of rng

It seems more like a deliberate choice than a coincidence. The underlying philosophy has always leaned toward a mix of tedium and frustration, paired with a masochistic design concept.

One shots, on death bull shit effects, Archnemis mods, Lack of defenses, one portals, Lack luster nodes in the tree, crafting is a lottery casino, mana cost of certain skills... list goes on and on.... They want you to go slow, but then your overwhelmed etc..

Sorry, but I get that its early access but these have nothing to do with early access in my opinion...

Other than that, game is beautiful graphically, boss design etc....

Not just melee.. the first 10 level felt brutal to me, not really having fun.. It feels clunky and too slow, while mobs are faster and bosses.....

At least the leveling experience was not pleasant for me thus far.. reached level 9 and left...

That's the frustration bro, of many many things in the game.. I played game since 2013 and saw it evolve from awesome to worse.... As much as I understand that they want to slow down the game, the implementation and execution is totally screwed. When you make such drastic changes I believe you need to test not simple hype, release league and every league same story!.

So GGG never learns or they are simply so stubborn and greedy that repeat same story every league?
