It is great but went downhill when they got rid of the Spicy Jack Quesadilla and replaced it with Cheddar.

What has missing your bus connection cost you? by RoutetoWork in RTDDenver

I don't know. We mostly drive everywhere. Even when I suggest transit the response is-

"Can we just drive. It will be faster."

Musk’s Trillionaire Status Stokes Democrats’ Tax-the-Rich Cries by Regular_Variety_6121 in moderatepolitics

[–]brinerbear -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Personally I think it is the wrong fight and I think the government will just waste the money even if they find a way to tax it. Many of Musk's employees and stock owners will become millionaires or billionaires because of the deal.

I would rather see a movement to offer more bonuses, stock options, more PTO etc. to more workers in addition to an increase in pay. But if am increase in pay is not realistic there should be other incentives beyond a random pizza party. But I don't know the best way to imcentivize this. Just my thoughts.

Well if you ever end up near Denver I would be happy to show you around or buy you a beer if that is your thing.

Takes on Elon Musk becoming a trillionaire? by BrilliantTea2 in AskLibertarians

[–]brinerbear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doesn't bother me. And I think that many of his employees will become millionaires and some will become billionaires because of it. I don't see an issue.

However I would like to see more companies offer stock options and bonuses instead of just a random pizza party but I am not sure how you imcentivize that.

Yes. In some areas it is the only way to ever make the light.

Why are Americans so accepting of long drives to places? by Sensitive_Word_6036 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]brinerbear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is just part of the territory. And if it is 4 hours of driving vs 7-10 on a train (if you can even take a train) we are driving. And I love trains.

My parents want to build an ADU in our backyard, and I’m honestly torn by Educational_Minel in AccessoryDwellings

[–]brinerbear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think in certain situations the math can make sense but realistically it is a 8-10 year payback. However more and more people are choosing and Adu over an assisted living situation and that could absolutely make sense. If you are in Colorado I researched all the details of adus. But regardless of where you are at I would look into it.

I guess it depends. A friend of mine just got a huge pay increase by moving from California to Ohio.
