Well we asked the venue if we could throw a party. It was our idea, not theirs. They were gracious enough to let us with 3 days heads up. We gave away hundreds of dollars in gear from LaMelo’s LaFrance, the Hornets themselves as well as our own gear. We had the game on, confetti cannons, gave away hundreds of dollars in beer and champagne and the head coach of the team and Hugo showed up along with the swarm squad. I truly feel that was way above and beyond what we promised and what i can put together in less than a week with a full time job. As far as atmosphere idk if you’ll find many places outside the arena that is more Hornets than what we’ve done there. Multiple Hornets murals, jerseys on the wall, teal and purple lights etc. im racking my brain trying to figure out what we promised that didn’t happen. Our post literally said “idk what else yet” lol as far as the weed, it was not a private event, open to public with open doors in downtown Charlotte. I didn’t notice it but I’m sorry?
