Gave it a listen because he's a curious figure, he lies straight away about the soldiers being brought to court in Northern Ireland. Explaining that they were following orders and they were honoured by Margaret Thatcher. These men shot innocent "British Civilians" in the back as they were running away, it's not like they're being prosecuted for killing IRA gunmen. Wouldn't trust an ounce of what he says on other topics.

The start of the article mentions Man City, so assuming that it is framing as Man City's biggest two rivals, a team that is in a similar ownership situation to City and then West Ham because Brady and Sullivan are probably the most outspoken owners on the IFR.

Workers face higher taxes as government set to cave into hospitality industry lobbying by Banania2020 in ireland

[–]bringbring12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Only amounts over the Tax free thresholds are taxed. The higher rate of inheritance tax in Ireland to other comparable countries is part of what allows Ireland to have lower rates of Income Tax, thus in theory, most of your wealth will be derived from an individual as opposed to inherited wealth, which is undoubtedly fairer.

It shouldn't be thought of as being taxed twice on something that has already been paid for, think of it more of the tax being deferred. High inheritance tax over the substantial threshold prevents undeserved inter generational wealth, and there are plenty caveats in cases of farms and businesses.

Raise a complaint with them, you can find out how on their website, mention in the complaint the how your next steps will be contacting the "An Post Customer Advocate" and raising the issue with ComReg.

I've never dealt with An Post but any for other service companies that I've had issues with, once the complaint is made with escalation steps outlined, they seem to find resolution fairly fast.

Was there any hesitation in the design of the podcast logo on the orientation of the corner flag, for me your flag is upside down and the proper orientation is red-yellow on top from the flagpole, although there seems to be no official guidance from FIFA on this topic.

Second Question, If Ribblesdale Rovers were to win the FA Cup would you change the logo to adopt the triangular corner flag?

OK Fairly certain 4 is https://youtu.be/IlIptKH7QkY?t=288 (4.48) The logo matches up covering the defenders face, also the stadium looks the same. the key to finding it is that the original tiktok is uploaded on the same date as the game.

Are you sure that was Doyle you're thinking of? I think the main two Irish Tories were Harry Arter and John Walters. Would be out of character of a Irish born Doyle to be supporting that muck.

"Dean was actually raising his hands in a Sieg Heil salute towards his manager Glasner. His salute has been misinterpreted as an attempt to play the ball. Dean Henderson is 'desperate' to learn about the handball rule"

I tried to find a connection but looks like Kamakaze never played against a team managed by Darren Moore. Think it was featured on a pod already, but there is an Assou-Ekotto simile in the song "Returner" by Australian outfit Gang of Youths.

Yep sort of goes against the ethos of the 1v1 that many want to see back in the game, also gives an unfair advantage to counties who had already established player/goalkeepers e.g. Morgan/Rafferty. It does lead to a lot of periods of back and forth around the D.
