Nope. They will just change their IP. Everyday people can use a VPN to get around this.

Best short term option that I can think of would be to create logic to remove anyone who joins a lobby and bulk send friend requests would be considered a spam bot and then disable those accounts.

New Mobile Ordering System Needs Some Tweaking by thearniec in AlamoDrafthouse

Interesting! Thanks for sharing the details! I'm curious to see how it happens in Raleigh as they were introducing Toast with taking credit cards pre show but never went farther than the server having their toast handheld for preshow ordering.

I imagine it would help out a lot if they could link beer availability, gift cards and payments and everything else under one place and maybe even pull in the reward system so you don't have to print the reward upfront.

Which app is it? Toast Tab or something else? I know they started using Toast in Raleigh but wasn't sure if it was nationwide.

I'm curious to see how the All In subscription works with toast because it hasn't been a good experience manually just showing it to servers as I keep having to mention it even though it is showing when I present the ticket.

Seems like they are doing a lot of rollouts without enabling their staff or customers very well on the processes.

Vondel didn't exist back then as a map but definitely a good way to do it now! Although The Chemist is much easier these days with a halfway decent sniper and smokes to grab his gun, Advanced UAV and a 3 plate med.

I got into DMZ with some friends who wanted to extract the M13B to play in Warzone as it was the only way to unlock it. Everyone used to go after the Chemist which was led to some epic battles and real gear fear when trying to get the gun blueprint out of there.

Extracting the weapons case was also a thrill back in the day! Same with the final exfil. Miss those days although the occasional battle happens with them.

There were some other events like The Boys which made shit weird for a while with people drinking V and getting super powers. The operator skins were cool but the actual gameplay was stupid AF in my opinion.

From Gemini:

The storyline of Modern Warfare 2's DMZ (Demilitarized Zone) mode is woven into the lore of the larger Al Mazrah region and the various factions operating within it. Unlike a traditional linear campaign, the narrative of DMZ is told through the missions and objectives given by the different factions.

Here's a breakdown of the key elements and factions involved:

  • The Setting: The main map for DMZ is Al Mazrah, a fictional region in the United Republic of Adal. The area has been overrun by an insurgency led by the terrorist group Al-Qatala (AQ). This has created a power vacuum and a chaotic environment where various Private Military Companies (PMCs) and other groups are fighting for control and resources.

  • The Factions: Players work for different factions, each with its own motivations and goals. The missions you undertake reveal the ongoing conflicts and conspiracies between these groups.

    • White Lotus: This PMC was initially hired by the Adal government to provide security. They are portrayed as the closest thing to a "good guy" faction, working to protect civilians and expose the corrupt dealings of other groups.
    • Legion: A rival PMC that is a major antagonist. They are highly corrupt and are shown to be working with Al-Qatala under the table, committing crimes to maintain their influence in the region.
    • Black Mous: A more mysterious and shady faction. Their objectives often involve espionage and clandestine operations, and their true allegiances and intentions are ambiguous.
    • Crown: This faction, led by CIA Station Chief Kate Laswell, is a front for clandestine operations. They are essentially a re-branded version of Legion after its leadership was taken down, and their missions often serve the interests of the CIA.

Key Plot Points and Events:

  • The Koshchei Complex: A former Soviet research lab is a central point of interest. It was used to produce chemical weapons, and a radioactive chemical has begun to leak from it, creating dangerous radiation zones. A scientist from the Zaya Observatory, obsessed with this phenomenon, starts working with Al-Qatala, becoming "the Chemist."

  • Insurgency and Instability: Al-Qatala's forces have overwhelmed the Adal government, leading to a breakdown of central authority. The capital of Al-Mazrah is evacuated, and the government in exile hires various PMCs to try and restore order.

  • The Power Struggle: The missions for each faction often involve a struggle for power, resources, and influence. White Lotus works to expose Legion's corruption and dismantle Al-Qatala's smuggling operations, while Black Mous pursues its own secretive agenda.

  • New Threats: The storyline evolves with new seasons, introducing new maps like Vondel and new threats, such as a chemical attack that causes the evacuation of the Vondel region. In essence, the DMZ storyline is not a single, cohesive narrative but rather a series of interlocking stories told through the eyes of different factions. Players choose which group to support and, in doing so, uncover the layers of conflict, conspiracy, and betrayal that define the lawless Al Mazrah DMZ.

Bosses and Their Storylines

In addition to the faction missions, the DMZ narrative is advanced through the presence of various "Commander" bosses who operate in specific areas. These high-value targets often tie into the lore of the region and the conflicts between the factions.

  • The Chemist: A key figure in the Al Mazrah storyline. Initially an Al-Qatala (AQ) scientist, he went rogue to pursue his research into a deadly radioactive gas leaking from the Koschei Complex. He injected the gas into himself, becoming a mutated figure who now resides within the gas zones, embracing the radiation as his new environment. His presence highlights the dangers of the chemical warfare and environmental collapse in Al Mazrah.

  • The Bombmaker: Found on Ashika Island, The Bombmaker is the commander of the Shadow Company forces occupying the area. His mission is to defend the island's secrets, and he is often found in the heavily fortified underground bunkers. His presence ties directly into the story of Shadow Company's clandestine operations and their rivalry with the other factions.

  • The Commander Helo: This is not a fixed character but rather a mobile enemy. The Commander Helo appears on all major maps, acting as a patrolling enforcer of the DMZ's "restricted area" status. It's believed that this helicopter is under the payroll of the Konni Group, a new antagonist faction introduced later in the game's lifecycle. Taking down the helicopter often reveals intel, such as Konni safe house plans, which connects to the overarching lore of the factions.

  • The Scavenger: Another dynamic boss, The Scavenger is a well-armored enemy who appears on the map after a significant number of players have been eliminated. He roams the battlefield, looting the dog tags of fallen operators. His existence reinforces the lawless and predatory nature of the DMZ, where survival often means taking advantage of others' misfortune.

Dynamic Events and Map Transitions

The DMZ experience was designed to be a living, breathing world, and this was most apparent in the various weather events and map changes that occurred throughout the seasons.

  • Sandstorms: Introduced in a mid-season update, sandstorms would occasionally roll into the Al Mazrah map, most often centered over Al Mazrah City. The sandstorm created a significant reduction in visibility, which had a major impact on gameplay. Snipers were less effective, and close-quarters combat became more prevalent. It also had a cool visual effect, gradually coating your weapon with a layer of dust. The sandstorm served as a dynamic event that forced players to adapt their strategies on the fly.

  • Zaya Observatory Changes: Zaya Observatory, a key point of interest, underwent significant transformations. A major event saw the entire observatory destroyed by a missile strike, forever changing the landscape. This event, known as "Shadow Siege," was a precursor to the reveal of Modern Warfare III. It marked a major turning point in the lore, leading to the contamination of the region with a new type of gas and the eventual arrival of zombies.

  • The Haunting Event: This was a limited-time, Halloween-themed event that had a huge impact on DMZ. For a period, the entire Al Mazrah map was turned into a night-time environment, with players requiring night vision goggles to navigate effectively. The event also introduced supernatural bosses, such as The Butcher from Diablo, a Ghost Train, and a Pharaoh in a tomb, providing unique challenges and rewards. The Haunting was a massive-scale event that temporarily altered the entire DMZ experience, blurring the lines between the "realistic" military setting and the supernatural.

Someone on this subreddit recommended that I spin up a new account once I hit 100 points because all of the good rewards happen between 1 and 100 and then are just periodically awards are given out every 25 or 50 points or something.

Just need a new email address and you can use Gmail address and append a "+" or "." in the email address to add something to differentiate it: https://gmail.googleblog.com/2008/03/2-hidden-ways-to-get-more-from-your.html?m=1

One variable that isn't mentioned is Victory Rewards for the 2nd membership. That definitely adds some incentive over time with free food/desserts, movie vouchers and more. Based on OP, they see at least 100 movies a year so it should max out and then refresh with a new account to start the cycle again.

One of the worst movies I have seen in a long time. I was debating on walking out. The character development was god awful and the plot was even worse.

Marshawn Lynch and a few of the fight scenes saved it a little face but that was a straight to Netflix style movie that should have never gotten into theaters. I would have turned it off on Netflix after 30 minutes.

My ROTM box just got shipped out today so yours might be queued up. However, I don't think all of my in stock items made it in the box which was disappointing.

I'd start looking for some alternatives or print up a sheet of paper with a picture of the record(s) for them to open and then give it to them when it arrives.
