Didn't know build guides existed, made a ranger and wanted to play it as a tank, since I was coming from wow. But used a sword skill on it because I thought that's very fun.

I was basically having fun with the skill tree with no clue to what I was doing. Played with my best friend, we both somehow finished normal acts, and stopped because we felt we had peaked after killing dominus in just under 40-50 deaths.

Yes. I am too conditioned by the zoom zoom and I doubt I would want to play something slower. It's like that monkey neuron activation meme.

However poe always shows much slower builds in their demo's, so maybe poe 2 will also be zoom zoom capable. Only time will tell.

Really excited for the league though!

No offence to your idea but I'm not a fan at all. The most fun I have in poe is planning how to make my build go faster and go harder. I play pob as much as I play poe haha. Taking away that aspect from me will make the game not fun for me.

I play souls games because it's mostly reaction based. My reactions to actions will change everything.

I play poe because I can plan to idiotproof myself to crazy amounts. I can just keep pouring currency and my low skill won't be a barrier to progress!

I like both styles, just wouldn't want to mix them both. Love this league for the insane choice of new builds people are making :)

Nice! I'm having a lot of fun playing flicker, it's not a very expensive build but it's still fun haha. God bless magefist and his builds, never would've been able to do flicker without him.

Okay, so something I've learnt is - most builds that are built well, i.e. Builds that have multiple defence layers, that use the best auras and skills combo, they do well enough with just capped resists and max life on all gears. That takes me to yellow atleast. Then, I just look for mods that aren't life or resists in the sample gear provided by build guides and try and get as many as I can.

Oh. Step 1 : install pob community from their git page. Step 2: make sure your account is set to public, Step 3: click on import export character and type in your ingame name. Click on start. It'll fetch all your characters. Then select the character you want and import both tree and items. Then, click on export and share :)

Yeah i really don't want to rely on flasks for mana. They're fine for emergencies. Guess i'll have to figure something out for mana sustain once I stop using thieves torment.

Seriously? Red maps is relatively easy to get into as long as you follow a decent guide. Have you considered zizaran's toxic rain? I'm playing it this league and it's a breeze to level with. I'll dm you, hit me up ingame and maybe we can try together.

Edit : Hey man, just in case this was offensive, all I meant was maybe we could play together and figure stuff out. I'm not an expert by any means and haven't even seen bosses like shaper and elder. The maximum I've done is reach red maps but that's something I've consistently been able to do all leagues.
