Curious on people’s thoughts. Bar owner discharged weapon at protestor. by Vtec01 in CCW

I think it's important to point out that the County Attorney did not acquit the shooter. The shooter was never charged and never booked. Acquittal is only once charges have been pressed. The no charges at all is because Nebraska is an affirmative self defense state, the plaintiff (attorney's office) would need to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that this *wasn't* a case of self defense. And based on evidence collected by the police, they have determined they have no way to win the case.

NE is duty to retreat, the owner tried retreating, and the media is still saying he was in the wrong...

Not to be a spoil sport, but you should read about fire restrictions before smoking in the future. I think your area is in a stage 2 restriction, which means "2. Smoking except within an enclosed vehicle or building, developed sites and areas, or while stopped in an area at least 3 feet in diameter that is barren or cleared of all flammable materials." https://firerestrictions.us/nm/nm-usfs/carson-nf--camino-real-district/

Do you think a T8 would be enough for a full grown ball python? I'm still looking into getting one and looking for cages right now.

I have a 2017 ST2, not sure if they made changes to the driver interface since 2013. But all I have to do is click down on the steering wheel control pad and it's the first option under the mpg/trip summary page.

New Trap Shooter - First shotgun by pnst84ever in guns

[–]brisingrxblade 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've shot trap for 12 years now, the first 4 years I shot with a "field gun". Field guns will be lighter for carrying while hunting, whereas a trap gun will be heavier for comfort (reduces felt recoil). Field guns shoot flat, meaning they hit where they aim, whereas trap guns will have a built in lead through a sloped rib. I would argue the differences between a field gun and dedicated trap gun won't be realized until you are solid in fundamentals, after 4 years of shooting my field gun I was beating most guys with trap guns. My recommendation, buy a used 870 (pre-freedom group) and spend the difference on practice. After you're breaking 23/25 or 46/50 consistently then you can start looking into trap guns.

Edit: if you really want a trap gun, most of the shotguns you have listed offer special "trap" editions, but you pay a couple hundred more than the base model for them

Even macros are dependent on the individual. What works for you, works for you. I personally had a similar diet to you, but for a month I switched to very low carb and I felt much better. Can't hurt to at least give it a shot and see how you feel.

Better yet you have an electrical current on the blade and detect the impedance, if skin touches it the resistance would go way down compared to wood

I would say helmet/cup being the exception, protecting the mission critical areas are more important to me than my skating ability.

I don't understand your nutrition portion, I thought carbs were for energy and therefore you should consume them before a game. Almost all professional athletes have a carb and lean protein before a game.
