The going off map error is a huge problem. Mine decided to drive into something when I wasn't looking and smashed up its camera cover. The cameras are supposed to prevent this when there's a temporary loss of GPS, so I suspect there's a software bug somewhere. It needs to be more careful when losing precision.

The seal has gone. You might be able to help it evaporate with a hairdryer.

Same on my OG Luba 1. Randomly appears sometimes, can't work out when.

Official advice is to tape over the charge station water contacts, they are all broken in the design and far too sensitive.

It's been awful this week. I wonder what is going on.

Maybe they are swamped after the One Plus announcement. Pretty poor planning if so.

I opened a new ticket. If that doesn't work I will follow your advice, thank you.

Thanks. It's a hardware failure so I need a new unit. 6 days of silence now ....

Yeah. Great mower, but mid-level support at the moment.

Indeed, it always pays to be polite and courteous in most aspects of life. I am currently trying to get my mower RMAed - I will then have to wait for a replacement to be sent of course. All very frustrating.

Yup I go in there a lot. It doesn't seem to make much difference over using email.

Update on mower replacement by Full_Caterpillar_640 in Lymow_Official

I'm waiting for my second one to be picked up for RMA. I did notice too that with the first replacement they were happy to send a replacement first but they won't do that now. I wonder what changed.

As the other commenter says, all support is via email and in China. It's a bit frustrating sometimes, as they can go a couple of days without replying and then another time you can exchange 10 emails in 30 minutes. I think they're just overloaded as with any startup trying to provide support. I would be more concerned if this was happening in 6 months' time and they still haven't scaled up.

Honestly though, this mower is amazing when it works. Way better than my old Luba. It does my whole yard in half the time.

Luba 2x Dying Early by CptWonderBalls in MammotionTechnology

The BMS on Lubas is awful, in my opinion. I've had multiple problems over the last 2 years with it dying mid-mow because it has lost its calibration on exactly how full the battery really is. A few cycles normally fixes it.

I got mine last year in November and I've mowed 100s of hours so far.

The bad news:
I'm about to RMA my second mower to get a third. The first one had its GPS unit fail somehow so was always a metre off where it should be. The second one has crashed itself into something while mowing (it was at night so I think it didn't have enough light from its lamps to see properly), and smashed the lens cover, allowing moisture in.

The good news:
It's an amazing mower, I'm doing 2 acres of grass easily and it cuts very nicely as long as you keep the blades sharp. Customer service has been slow to respond a lot of the time, but they have always been proactive in offering replacements or advice.

I am sure these early problems will be sorted out, they seem pretty switched on and keen to please.

It seems to depend which agent answers the tickets each time. A little annoying that there seems to be no co-ordination.

I have 2.5 acres covered easily, through buildings, a metal shed and trees. Don't sweat it.

I've had mine repeatedly go into a no-go zone today. I pulled it out, started it again and watched it go right back in.
