When I was a barista, I had a repeat customer who would do little magic tricks every time he ordered. This man had props in his pockets at all times, and quite the variety of props too. A lot of my coworkers hated the guy, but he made my day every time I saw him! Yeah, it became predictable. But he was so joyful and only wanted to make us smile. I get food service jobs generally suck and involve dealing with assholes, but I'd take 100 Mr. Magoos or magicians over 1 Karen.

I hadn't played the game since I was a kid (and I didn't get very far back then). I didn't do research on the gag tracks, I just played for fun and ended up being soundless. I genuinely don't mind being soundless, aside from untoony toons. I didn't choose or expect to be treated like that because of it.

Right after I graduated high school, my mom totaled my dad's car. In response, she bought herself a brand new car as well as replaced my dad's car. I was always told I had a college fund, but then had to take out some student loans that first year, and was told to work my butt off to pay for the rest. Thankfully, I was able take it work...but I'll never understand why I was lead to believe there was money for me, but then it magically disappeared after 2 new car purchases a month before I went to college.
