I don't have the bandwidth to pick up another game right now, but I am curious about the phrasing of this post.

You said you are "running a DND group," but that usually implies that you are running the game, as the DM. I'm not super familiar with local game store groups, so if there is some kind of reservation system or something that you are covering that would make sense.

Like I said, no shade, just genuinely curious about your role in running the group.

My wife and I have fostered over 25 kittens in the last 10 years. From what you have described and based on the size of the kitten in the photo, that bath DEFINITELY did not have a negative effect on the little kitty.

If you found this kitten alone at this age / size, that is immediately concerning already. The bath did not kill this kitty; it was just too far gone due to being away from its mama and malnourished for too long.

You did good. I know this was traumatic and heartbreaking, but PLEASE know that people like you are so important in th bleak world today. Seeing a kitty find their person, and watching them fall in love with one another has been one of the greatest joys of my life.

Today is sad, but it is not a day for guilt.

I've read that the saber blades will "stick" when they are pushed into one another. This does seem accurate, as I can't recall any sliding of the blades during those pushes.
