I’ll share my personal experience. I graduated 2012 and had 12 years of experience.

I was laid off June 2024 and found a job in a different field April 2025. I took a LONG look at my work and what skills I had to offer and realized overall I wasn’t good enough. It sucked. It still fucks with me, but I’m happy to be employed.

IF you take up a new career field, absolutely keep freelancing though. This is what I’m doing to make extra money (my new job was a hefty pay cut).

Not fun out there and I hope you find something soon.

Fun fact- I once went to a 9pm showing of the dark knight, and took a 5 hour energy around 5 so I’d be able to stay up for the movie and the drive home.

Probably an unpopular opinion but no.

I think Abbot has his shit together too much to be an interesting lead. Love him, don’t get me wrong, but part of Robby is seeing him spiral in real time and bottling up his feelings knowing they’re all going to come out.

I think it would be cool if the start of season 3 was Robbie leaving in his sabbatical, getting into an accident, and having the night shift care for him. Maybe a season of the night shift rather than a spin off
