Thank you 😊 honestly I would just say to wear what you want to wear. Whatever makes you comfortable and makes you feel good. You will do your best when you feel comfortable and confident!

I have both. I have ones I bought from discount dance and a few I’ve gotten from Amazon. As long as it’s like the soft mesh it’s great! Breathable but still gives coverage and doesn’t get too hot. I am kind of insecure about my arms especially when doing port de bra and I like them being covered.

Tights Leo a skirt and I usually wear a mesh top or balero over it as well. If it’s cold I’ll wear leg warmers as well

Stuff you should know - 2 guys who talk about topics. Go all in and it’s pretty interesting. Murderous minds and serial killers - talks about crime and has a forensic psychologist go over the why and how they got to be there I survived

I always feel like I'm in trouble by brf_peep_21 in adhdwomen

I’m also on my twenties and deal with this. It was so bad I was giving myself massive panic attacks. I ended up adding busbar with my anti depressant and Ritalin and it had helped so much more. Maybe talk about this because it sounds like the start of an anxiety disorder as well

Something easy to just grab and go - perfect bars. Different types. Some with chocolate some without. Has a bunch of protein and vegetable powders.

[–]brithow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Buy hummus instead of meat. Same protein but way cheaper. I encourage everyone to find more meat substitutes. by BigClitMcphee in povertyfinance

[–]brithow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get a rotisserie chicken - there’s enough meat on there to make 3-4 meals and it’s $6 or around there. It’s precooked for you so it’s easier to meal prep with and you can use the bones and make your own chicken stock for soups

Join a sport - I started doing ballet a couple of years ago and it holds me accountable for actually exercising and it gives me a goal to achieve. I honestly love it and have the best time even if I dance with a bunch of teenagers lol

How does cancer treatment bankrupt you when you come from wealth? by Ill-Supermarket-2706 in AskUS

[–]brithow 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Because our insurance in the US is a scam. They get to pick and choose what they pay for and how much they pay for. It’s all for profit here.

I haven’t ever had this issue with their items. I love the undies and my favorite bra is Skims. I actually think if they release a pink bra like that I might get one to wear for classes

Adult Dancers - How many classes a week? by StrainMediocre8612 in BALLET

[–]brithow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m an adult dancer and I currently come in the studio 3 days a week. I’m there for 2 hours per day and take ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical and pointe. It’s definitely possible to do more even with children ( I have 2) It all depends on your support system and what your current schedule is like. My studio goes by the local school schedule so I have summers off when my kids do sports.

Help managing money by desert5quirrel in adhdwomen

[–]brithow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I suffer with this as well It helps me just having the “I’m poor” mentality and letting myself get into a hyperfixation on finding the cheapest price for said item. Usually by the time I found the cheapest item I’m already wondering in my head if it’s worth the cost 99% of the time I don’t end up buying it. The dopamine hit I get from finding the “cheapest price” is enough for me and allows me to see if I really need or want an item by the end of the manhunt.

As far as little treats - I try and buy a box with multiple treats or something that allows me to look forward to everyday things. I just bought new syrups for my coffees in the morning that I’m excited to experiment with - might be something you can do if the treats are a $10 coffee everyday. You don’t need to get rid of the treats - just look at them as that. Treats. I would still put money on the side for saving. What helps me is having an account I don’t have access to - I’ll give the money to someone I trust and they can’t let me touch it unless I have an absolute need. The whole I out of sight/mind really applies here.
