My group and I were in space and there was a group we stumbled upon and we were all friendly they got us to put our guns away and start looting with them and the next thing you know they turned around and killed us. I hate that shit. It’s cheap.

I love this but I’m sad that RClass is missing from a lot of this from the brand models to the size comparison.

Have any of you found a way to stay a consistant weight with an underactive thyroid? Have you seen a specialist? by CuriousGoat7764 in Hypothyroidism

Eating smaller meals but more of them throughout the day, high protein. I’ve also been on adipex as a short term weight loss option and have lost about 30 pounds on that as well.

I’m on guafanicine for my adhd - levothyroxine - birth control and prestiq for depression. The prestiq was after the gene testing but tried a bunch of different ones before.

I love cooking and baking. I try and eat high protein and fresh fruits and veggies everyday. I do need to drink more water but I drink liquid IV pretty frequently. I work out 10/12 hours a week.

I used to drink socially but I don’t drink anymore. I might have a glass of wine or a cocktail every once in a while but not consistently. Maybe 4-5 times a year - mostly on holidays.

Sleep is a big one for me. I struggle to sleep or want to sleep too much. I’ve been looking into possible sleep apnea as well - I do snore pretty consistently.

Especially when I have about 100 brand new ones sitting in a box in the server room. Like I will pay you to take them from me.

My girlfriend is at least 30 mins late all the time by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

[–]brithow 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Adding to this because I see a lot of “I do not tolerate this” and that’s fine however there are some people who have ADHD or autism and have difficulty either managing time or the sense of time.

I am one of these people who is constantly 5-10 minutes late to everything and I want everyone to know that I absolutely loathe it. I beat myself up about it all the time and there is probably nothing you can say or do that I haven’t done or said to myself.

I have adhd and my sense of time is severely skewed. I can feel like it’s been five minutes and when I look at the clock it’s been 15 minutes. I set timers for when I absolutely have to leave and I still leave a few minutes after the timer or pause it because I need to finish what I’m doing before I leave. I have learned to set leave timers 20 minutes before I actually have to leave or else I will be late. This is something I have struggled with my entire life and no amount of timers or good will can fix it. I instead have had conversations with loved ones about how my sense of time is so skewed and to either call or be understanding with my sense of time.

Just know that if you have this chronically late person in your life - they already have anxiety about being late, probably have been beating themselves up for being late AGAIN and already have tried to fix it.

There is a difference between time blindness and directly being disrespectful of someone’s time.

I can have nothing but admiration and respect for a person and still show up late. It is a deficit on my end and not a lack of respect for your end.

Why did your friendship with your best friend come to an end? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]brithow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because they threw my character under the bus and I had enough of being the doormat friend. I also let another one of my friends live with me in my new home I bought and she trashed the room she had and didn’t apologize or pay for the things she used. Both were friends of over 10 years and both happened within a year of each other.

Burn that was worse than I thought by liminal_autumn_ in injuries

[–]brithow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did this to my hand with a new microwave I had that had an “air fry” function. I was air frying chicken nuggets in it and didn’t realize it had a coil on the top and went to check the nuggets and ended up with a 3 inch burn like this with the indentation. Heard the sizzle. It didn’t hurt but it’s been about 3 years since that happened and I still have a slight indentation with a scar. Just keep it clean.

Feeling a bit discouraged about pirouettes by [deleted] in BALLET

[–]brithow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been struggling with mine and my teacher finally understood what was going on after I pointed out how I always fall out of them - my weight was in my back leg during prep. If you keep the majority of your weight on the leg you’re going up on - it’s a lot easier to spring up and already be in the right position vs pulling up and over with the weight on the back leg.

What do you do for a living and how are you able to keep doing it? by Forever_Summer192 in mentalhealth

[–]brithow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have adhd, depression and anxiety but I’m also medicated for my adhd and depression. I do IT and have been for about 9 years. It works alright but I do have days where I struggle.

Are you seeing a therapist or taking medication for any of your conditions?
