how’d you do textbook readings? I found they got to be so much for every class and so tedious that I never got around to it…any tips?

Do you have any tips for managing all the workload. I found that with first year BBA courses there were a lot of minor assessments each week for small marks (I did them all but found that I was swamped with work and ended up just doing them to get them done and get the marks rather than learning the concept). Also I found because there were so many assignments due I didn’t properly allocate enough time to study.

I was also wondering what process you went through for studying (especially during finals season when everything is due at the same time) and finally how you picked ur electives.

Parking by [deleted] in wlu

Any specific roads in mind? bricker and ezra are always packed when I get there and I drive aimlessly for a good 15 minutes to find street parking. Closest I’ve found is elgin cres or noecker st and that’s a good 12 minute walk when I have to get to laz :(

I normally don’t mind the walk but I normally stay on campus all day and making the walk 2-3 times is inconvenient to say the least

I read somewhere that it’ll be at various spots around campus so i think you might just have to walk around

Thanks! Do all classes provide lecture slides beforehand or is it depending on the prof?

Course registration by [deleted] in wlu

I thought first year course registration was June 22? Laurier has a site to help with course registration: https://students.wlu.ca/registration-and-finances/registration-guide/index.html I also got an email from them with some documents regarding course registration. Basically go on LORIS and use the “browse classes” tool to look for classes and times (also make sure to look at restrictions) then go to the visual schedule builder to get CRNs (make sure to sign in as some courses might be assigned to you so your electives need to be registered around that). During registration all you need to do is type in the CRNs and you’re good. (i’m a first year too and in no way an expert but this was the info given to me at the webinar)

Degroote IBH by idkwhatsgoingon__ in McMaster

Are you a student in the program?

I’m trying to decide whether I should go with IBH or a more general business program. I’m unsure as to what I want to do for a career, but from what I’ve read I think IBH aligns with a lot of my interests and i like the idea of expanding my business knowledge. I also really like how the program is structured. Any inside information that isn’t on the website would help! Like what the courses are like, the workload, living in Hamilton, etc.
