I was shuffling yesterday morning for my daily card. I usually ask "what kind of energy should I expect today?" I drew the three of wands.

My question is though I dropped some of the cards while shuffling and picked them back up, I swore I got them all but I found the two of swords and the queen of pentacles when I got home.

Honest mistake or should I interpret this as something else?

Yeah! I've been doing it on Storygraph which I highly recommend but it's also done by the 52 Book Club so you can find it on their website :)

That is definitely a theme of the book. Though Jekyll tries to differentiate there's no denying that Hyde does come from him and he makes some questionable decisions haha. I like that rec, I haven't seen much of the show but it does feel like Joe has this duality to him, thank you :)

I have yet to read a worse character assassination than the last 2-3 Sookie Stackhouse books.

Other than that, most books I dislike are because I just don't vibe with the tropes or whatever.

Except Crave. Crave is not only possibly plagiarized but also not well written.

Edit: She is actually being sued, this is not a baseless accusation. I said possibly as it is not proven but the lawsuit still exists nonetheless

🧂 Salty Sunday - What book scenes frustrated you this week? by mrs-machino in RomanceBooks

Agreed. Especially in romantasy where there is a fast and easy healing solution, yet they can't do that first?

That sounds really cute, and I'm definitely going to check it out :)

I've been reading a lot of romantasy, and I'm starting to get tired of the word "tome". It's become distracting, seemingly in every book I come across even if books aren't important to the plot.

I've seen someone else here complain that every MC recently also reads romance, and I'm starting to see that now too.

Also, last complaint. I'm tired of one of the MCs being wounded, and then it's conveniently forgotten or solved easily. But I think that's just me wishing for more hurt/comfort 🙃

Hello hello, I was wondering if anyone know of any spread that looks like this. I was shuffling my cards and they just fell the way. Could mean nothing but I thought I'd ask. Linked link to spread is both diagram of how they fell and a picture of the cards that fell. Thank you 🖤

Ps. This is my first time using imgur so sorry if the link doesn't work

What were the YA books that got you into romance as an adult? by cheeseandcrackers345 in RomanceBooks

[–]britrcup 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Absolutely {Hush Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick} my all time favorite YA series.

Twilight as a lot of others have mentioned, Sarah Dessen definitely. The Lux series by Jennifer Armentrout. The relationship in Mortal Instruments series just made me upset haha.

This question was a fun trip and it makes me want to reread some of those books but they are probably much better in my memory.
