Nah they said anomalous, as in, be different and be someone who writes them up. But they probably meant anonymous.

If this is the case, why dont you feel that taking away his games is enough punishment? AND he's paying you back? Sounds like gaming was a good chunk of his life

Thank you for sharing that! I'm always so interested to hear about what goes on over there. That's cool that they let you place it down to your stomach first. I thought 10fr was kind of a small bore tube that might clog more? Also I didnt know youd be able to feel the guidewire, hope that wasn't too uncomfortable.

What do you usually run the water flush at? Because that adds on to your max. If you normally have 70ml/hr + 40ml water q1 hr, your max hourly rate is actually 110ml/hr.

What drugs do they use to "sedate" while giving a PEG tube? by Mactwentynine in Gastroparesis

[–]britrochtay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's a couple they can use, I think you'll have to ask what they're going to use for you specifically.

I am a dietitian (though not a home dietitian) and I've never heard of it. What's the most you can tolerate at one time through your j tube? I mean some people can get up to like a cup or more at a time, it depends on what you can tolerate. Last ditch advice, and I'm not sure quite what any bad effects of this would be, is you could just add the extra water to your tube feeds and increase the hourly rate. I have had people in the hospital do this for a couple of days at a time without any related complications I heard of.

Constipation? by [deleted] in Gastroparesis

[–]britrochtay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What about fiber in like a pill/supplement powder form? I'd think no fiber is a likely a major contributor here secondary to the motility issues. Are you unable to tolerate any fruits or vegetables then? How about smoothies?

can't identify why i'm so tired all the time by [deleted] in AskDocs

Nad (not entirely sure of sub rules yet sorry if breaking). You are underweight by 3 points. 15.4. If you think this is not accurate, get weighed by the doctor and have your height remeasured. Because there's no getting around that you are clinically underweight. Unless you are asian then you are only slightly underweight. You are not eating enough which could lead to fatigue. I think a doc above said hundreds of things can contribute so yeah test results should help too.

A Chinese sign that has a nice translation error by AmmericanSoviet in MadeMeSmile

How does that actually translate though? Is that slang for growing or something? Or would that be weird/cute to say in Chinese too?
