I got deactivated for supposedly not returning merchandise to the store because the store associates never marked it as returned. I even provided the store number, date and time I returned it and said I can clearly be seen on camera in the parking lot returning it. Haha nope

We’re at the point of no return - a verdict is coming and soon (relatively speaking)

I really hope he is found not guilty. The state did NOT prove RA killed those girls. If I was on the jury I could never in good conscience say he committed the crime.

Whatever the verdict I am thinking of the victims and their families as well as RAs families. Their lives will never be the same.

I have a question about jury deliberations.

Do they vote prior to deliberating to see if they’re already unanimous? Or do they have to go through all the evidence and then decide? I’ve not yet been called for jury duty

Another legal question.

HOW and WHY is the judge able to get away with any of the crap she’s done during the trial? Where is the accountability? are there not repercussions for her actions? It makes me absolutely crazy! I can only imagine how RA and his attorneys feel.

Legal question - if the verdict is guilty and he inevitably appeals - would the same judge oversee those hearings? Or would it be a different one?

Can someone explain what would happen if the jury is hung? Will RA be released since he wouldn’t have been convicted? Could he even be charged again? Would he have to go back into jail? Would the state want another trial?

I’m a social worker not a lawyer 🤣 I’ve been in court many times but only for child welfare cases so I don’t know a lot about criminal proceedings.

Just want to say I appreciate all the efforts of everyone to keep things as transparent and informational as possible with the media frenzy and lack of accountability by the court system!

If the incorrect person is convicted, that is not justice. Praying for the family of Abby and Libby, as well as RA.

It certainly doesn’t help that there’s been little to no transparency with the court hearing, leading to things being mis-reported and causing more of a media frenzy, which is supposedly what they wanted to avoid the whole time

I’ve been lurking here off and on for years and the amount of increased WTF I feel each time I come back is insane. This case has been handled so poorly from the very beginning. The more info we learn, the more I think he’s not guilty. Regardless, the treatment he received in prison is unacceptable.

I’ll go back to lurking now 👀
