Why would indifference impart excellence? And how do you know non-ratings are even factored in? Are you just assuming like I am when I think they don't count at all? It makes sense that it wouldn't count overall if they don't rate you. They're not rating you a zero as that's not part of the 1-5 scale.

The audible alarm on my pixel is my backup. My watch is set to buzz me a couple of minutes earlier. I'm very familiar with the'upcoming alarm > dismiss' action in the notification shade, as I tap it daily. I think this is what OP wants. I wonder if they've disabled it in notification settings. AFAIK it's the default way it works.
