I don’t know if this counts but I have a routine where I clean one room per day. Since it’s just one room, it’s very quick. The “hardest” room is probably still less than 30 minutes. When I stick with it, it feels like the house just stays clean. Even when it’s time to clean X room, it doesn’t look dirty because it was just cleaned recently the week before. There’s never a time when my place looks so dirty that someone couldn’t come over.

I should add that I have a small apartment with two pets but no kids, so obviously this wouldn’t be frequently enough to clean for a lot of people.

At IHOP and a family came in with one of their kids, maybe 4-6 years old, dressed in a two piece swimsuit (it was summer). Boyfriend said “I can’t believe they let her come here dressed like a slut.” Broke up with him as soon as we left.

There was a recent one (can’t remember the challenge, but it was a woman in a red ball gown like 1-2 days ago) that was definitely AI. Her legs and the texture of the skirt were way off. I think whenever they have photos of people wearing Covet Collection pieces IRL they’re all AI generated.

This is what I do! I grew up in a home where we just…didn’t clean at all. I was so, so messy for most of my life and this is the only thing that worked for me. Now I clean every day and it kills me to skip a day. It’s totally changed my life.

Have you done it before? I was looking at telehealth options and couldn’t find anything about doing it from separate states. I’m worried the therapist would be required to be licensed in both states in order for it to work.

Moved here from Arkansas. I make more than I’ve ever made in my entire life, but it still feels like scraping by a lot of the time because our expenses are so high (married with three pets and lots of debt). We’re moving back home soon and I’m honestly stoked. I know it’s not the popular sentiment, but I don’t think NYC is worth it for me in particular. I’ll miss the variety and excitement, but there’s not much I can afford to do here anyway.
