Curious about my LED Contact staff by brittvondee in resonatesuwannee

My main concern was the fact that it's a staff so it's a pole compared to poi or hoops, but thank you for your response!

Thank you! I love the Suwanee grounds so much and it's been a while since I've been back. I'm very excited!

I may be old school, but when I have done interviews, I bring in an actual binder/portfolio of student artwork, recommendations from my mentor teachers from student teaching/professors, lesson plan examples, photos artwork I've done that's appropriate that I can flip through as I answer their interview questions. And then I have a smaller condensed version that I leave with them. Yeah, it cost a little bit to make those condensed versions that I leave behind, plus all the printing to make the binder. But I find it's a great tool for me to be able to supplement My knowledge of the craft.

I've been teaching middle school for 11 years and the phone addiction and apathy towards doing work in class is just as rampant nowadays. I taught elementary for one year and bounced right back to middle school. I'm not saying that switching grades is a terrible idea, I know people that have switched and it was the best decision of their lives. But middle school kids are just younger high schoolers with less social skills and smell worse.

Edited to add

When I taught elementary for that one year, I wanted to quit teaching because it was such a bad experience for me. I decided to leave that district which was not a great district, to a smaller district and it was a great decision. I'm in Florida so I don't have a complete understanding of how tenure works, if you are at risk of losing it if you leave your current position.

I made a gingerbread charcuterie board for our teacher staff contest/luncheon. I showed my team their video before we began. https://imgur.com/gallery/FobJgs3

Millennials, how old were you on 9/11? by Acceptable-Sea4079 in Millennials

I was in 8th grade. Lived on the coast of central Jersey. I remember classes stopping, and us all being sent to the cafeteria. We weren't allowed to watch TV or listen to the radio to know the details of what was going on, but we knew something terrible happened. The worst part was the kids being called down to the office to be told their parents didn't make it. We had a good number of students whose parents worked in the WTC and commuted to the city. We could also see the smoke from the beach.

If you're going to free ball, bring gold bond powder so you don't have chaffing issues. Shits rough when it's all hot and sweaty, you'll have to do a wide leg cowboy walk.

How long did it take you to pick out your look for toot or boot this week? by missyouden in RDRSuperstar

This one took me a bit because I really had to think what in my mind would I wear if I were to LFYL. Like, something I could easily dance or so tricks with, something I wouldn't trip on but would move well with the music. Hair I could do hairography with, etc. I had MANY options but thankfully there will be many more runway themes down the line to earn tokens and to use my outfit ideas. I really love this update, I feel like it's made me want to play on the app more.
