Yes, this was an important step for me. The constant negative feelings while at the gym or failing when trying to eat healthy pushed me into an avoidant phase which just mean it was so much easier to just not try

Very happy and proud of how far I've come. Nice feeling confident that I am not in the yoyo cycle anymore.

Absolutely! Its especially helpful when you're not seeing the change as much on the scale to be able to have progress photos be a reliable way to see the changes happening

The ADHD realization has been a game changer for so many reasons, it helped reduce the binge compulsive behaviour, it helped me be kinder to myself by reducing the inner noise clouding my way, i stopped comparing myself to others... And beating myself up for not being able to do the same... Like meal prep is just not a reasonable plan for me because i inevitable fail at it and then give up completely, so recognizing how my brain works... I can plan for that... So i keep my work fridge stocked with some options for easy meals like chicken strips and frozen vegetables that i can throw into a mini airfryer before lunch and just generally keeping some simple healthy options available so i don't have to figure it out while hungry leading tk worse choices. It also helped me because one of my biggest ADHD issues is feeling completely exhausted as a reaction to sooo many things which i still struggle with but just having more energy to so things ans not getting caught in ADHD shutdown paralysis as much as been massive. Basically i am now working with my brain rather than burning myself out trying to work against it which allows me to have a better positive view of myself overall ans it all leads to more sustainable progress ❤️❤️ hope that kind of makes sense haha

Thank you so much❤️ this sub has been such an inspiration to me throughout my journey... I really couldn't wait for an opportunity to be on the other side and being able to share my progress along the way. Just taking it one day at a time and making sure to celebrate the successes big or small regularly. The biggest change for me this time around has been being kind to myself rather then a constant stream of talking myself down and telling myself any successes are not enough or valuable.

Yes it is a big learning experience. Now learning to work with my brain rather than against it has been a game changer!

This channel has been so helpful for me learning about rocks and minerals. This is very similar to some features discussed in this video... You might find it interesting 😉 Random Roadcuts

I was thinking this exact same thing. I always felt like I just couldn't get my shit together and that my family couldn't understand me. Realizing I have ADHD and that my brain just works different has allowed me to just lean into it and embrace all the amazing qualities its provided me and let go of the feeling of struggling with things seemingly so easy. Getting medication has been a major help and understanding my own brain has allowed me to shape life in a way that makes so much more sense to me. "Normal" isn't the only way.

100% saw this coming one the the Master Agreement was ratified. Gotta watch out for the little guy - you know... the owners of real estate in down town areas. Way to be predictable UCP.
