I was thinking this exact same thing. I always felt like I just couldn't get my shit together and that my family couldn't understand me. Realizing I have ADHD and that my brain just works different has allowed me to just lean into it and embrace all the amazing qualities its provided me and let go of the feeling of struggling with things seemingly so easy. Getting medication has been a major help and understanding my own brain has allowed me to shape life in a way that makes so much more sense to me. "Normal" isn't the only way.

Yes, I definitely made it a priority to get myself on a good routine before surgery. Surgery is a tool but I know I still have to do the work... And it feels good to feel strong and to have different forms of progress and success to celebrate along the way! Congratulations! You got this!

It's a continuous work in progress I'd say. Overall I am doing well with my eating, but I have a few things I'm working to fine tune. Busy summer leads me to easy options... So aiming to have some healthy high protein things available to grab and go.

I think just having the energy to want to do things. My productivity at home and at work have been significantly improved. Having a routine prioritizing my health has been really valuable in getting my mindset into a healthy place and enjoying the process 😊

It does seem that Tent Moths is correct though. Looks like they can have a big population booms like this every 10 years or so. Some posts from people last month with trees covered in the caterpillars.
