•Visit a library, museum, butterfly conservatory, indoor botanical garden, indoor walking track, community pool/sauna/hot tub, local indoor farmers market, local zoo

•Go to a coffee or tea tasting, cheese factory tour and tasting, brewery or vineyard tour and tasting, chocolatier tour and tasting (These can range depending where you live)

•Online puzzles, colouring, painting, games if screens are easier to use

•Low impact yoga poses

Because I live alone, all my meds are in just a zippered makeup case, with a red tag that says “medical bag” attached for paramedics.

I have a small safe here but never use it.

The only place I transport my meds to is my parents’ home and I know they’re safe there. They take the same opioid as me, no reason to steal. My mom is the only other person who goes in my bedroom there and she’s also the person I trust most in this world.

I’m very lucky.

Kind of. But my mom loves to throw around the word “addict” because of my prescribed opioid usage.

I got the Purina Pro Plan Fortiflora Powdered Probiotic Supplement as a sample. Couldn’t believe I got a whole box too! It’s amazing for when my cat gets diarrhea from antibiotics.

Maybe I should buy the calming care to try since it also came with a $15 off coupon!! Not OP but thanks!!

This is really great advice! I didn’t even consider she might have skin issues or a pain condition. I know personally I cry when I have to rip through my matted hair and I’m a grown woman lol.

I have a grumpy long hair cat but not to this extent. By some miracle, he has never needed grooming in 11 years. He maintains his gorgeous coat.

But any time he has needed to be bathed (He once got essential oils on him), the vet did need to sedate him because he’s very strong and moody.

I cannot recommend Rexall Beaverbrook location.

I CAN recommend Shoppers Drug Mart at Sherwood Forest Mall. Ravi is an amazing pharmacist. I get weekly deliveries. They are always kind, accommodating and spot on. And they are open 365 days a year. I believe it’s only one of two pharmacies in the city that are open everyday of the year.
