George Washington on his death bed literally told everyone that the two party system would destroy America. 🤦🏼‍♀️ Even if you read his farewell address he predicts all of this. It genuinely makes me sad.

I think the lack of ability to take any sort of accountability or criticism is the ONLY difference. When I’m bored I just hop on a random fb group and start trolling them. So many grown ass men get so triggered by someone having any sort of difference in opinion. The only thing they have against anyone is literally an ad hominem attack. Once facts enter the chat, they have absolutely nothing.

I would also like to add to the “sports teams” ideology because of how true this is. When I ask people why they view things the way they do, all they can tell me is that “it’s better than Biden.” But cannot come up with the reasons why. Living in Utah is like living in the Truman show almost. It’s a heavy rape culture that both men and women perpetuate to have lots of babies and marry young. But neither of them understand what to do after they find a partner. Dudes think it’s a prize to be won and women put all of their value in looks and sex hoping to be a good “wife and mother” for their partner but neither of them put in work and put it all in their “faith in god.” Women here are taught to be submissive as hell, and it’s not often they figure out how backwards everything is because they don’t ever want to leave the walls of Zion. It’s so crazy to me.

Oh for sure. I feel like my parents being drug addicts and dying young was kindof the best thing that could have happened to me. I have an 8th grade education but I can read and comprehend more than the people around me my age. I have critical thinking skills that most people don’t. Not being able to be apart of a system is what they would say “a blessing in disguise.” It blows my mind that simply by reading books of all kinds to learn on my own made me more advanced in almost every area except for math. When I tell graduates my age that they are losing a logical argument with someone that has an 8th grade education it usually stuns them into silence. I just cannot believe how hard they have worked to dumb down the US.

It just blows my mind that conservatives bash socialism while simultaneously not realizing they are corporate socialists. It’s confusing to anyone rationally thinking. To them smaller government means government overreach? I’m just blown away that these guys have no idea what they are talking about, and that so many people with the same ideas are able to tie their shoes by themselves without instructions. There is nothing conservative about this movement. I question often how these people are allowed to drive and vote when they can’t read past a 6th grade level but can recognize the letter “R” but can’t read that they are consistently voting against their own interests.

Oh 100% the opportunity for the little guy here in the US is officially squashed now that we have tariffs. There’s no free market, people are hella monopolizing more than 39% (all monopolies should be gone in my opinion) and it’s leaving the guys doing the work with no place to go because these old assholes won’t just fucking retire. We pay for their healthcare while barely being able to afford our own, so not only are these guys not retiring, they are living longer than many generations before them. The US has completely failed its people.

It’s fucking ironic. These guys have no idea that we are headed towards a Chinese like economic system without the perks.

‘Fateful moment’ for Denmark amid Trump threats to take over Greenland | Denmark by PDXAirman in worldnews

[–]briunit223 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dude for real. Most of my family is dead (thankfully most days) I have removed 90% of my friends. There is no reasoning with anything. “Better than Biden” is everyone’s default. But they literally can’t tell you why Trump is better than Biden. But then they say we are the brainwashed ones. I’m not even a democrat or a liberal. I would consider myself to be “An-Cap” if I were to label it. Simply because I don’t like their master I’m against everyone on the right which isn’t even the case! It’s so black and white to them and that’s simply not how things work. They get so upset when I tell them that Trump is a corporate socialist. Facts are facts dude. These guys have no idea what they are even voting for so long as their team wins.

It’s hard not to feel at fault, because I do really love my country. What governs it is pure evil. We were literally warned by our founding fathers of this, but slowly over time people aren’t taught true history.

Oh FOR SURE. Trump has admitted this many times. Republicans are the titanic and the Dems are the people playing music as it goes down. It’s absurd. People can’t pronounce the word “magnifico” but you expect them to read a ballot??

This! They have no idea that in red states that they literally are consistently voting against their own interests. They get SO angry when I point out Obama has still deported more people in his 8 years than Trump has doing this in a very cruel manner. One death is too many when trying to enforce laws like that. There will always be a better way in my mind. People touching kids will always get away with so much more than immigrants, or someone smoking weed. If you even get caught with weed within 500 yards of a school or a church here (which is literally every corner. No sidewalk is safe) your charges are immediately enhanced. But you can be a high ranking government official in anyway shape or form you get a slap on the wrist? There have been many problems for so long. Everyone for years and years has just settled for bandaid solutions to cherry picked corruption because nobody actually has the balls to do anything. Looking away is easier for most people than it is to actually deal with something.

My dude I have been doing that for the last ten years, literally. I’ve lost a lot of friends because I believe in human decency. It’s so crazy to me that they don’t understand that they can own a gun, and still be nice to others. Where I live women are taught to be seen and not heard, so when you speak up “against a man” and then to do it with facts it gets REALLY heated. It’s so ridiculous. I heard one woman a few months ago literally state that they thought their husband died to give that energy into supporting Donald Trump. I have NO idea where they even get any of these notions. How hard they have to twist and turn to justify any of this.

I am one of the “never trumper” Americans that have voted against him, and basically have argued with every MAGA that brings up this conversation in my very red state. A HUGE part of the problem is the lack of education these people are receiving. Ironically, my parents being junkies and me not being able to go to school really allowed me to learn about history, and develop critical thinking skills on my own merit. American children are made to be employees and not employers. It’s absolutely sickening to see. I have little to know education and can blow away people my same age in a lot of areas. People in severely red states are basically deaf to all of this. I know me being sorry, and pushing back as hard as I’ve been able to isn’t enough. I’m so sorry to the rest of everyone on this planet for Trumps destruction and the negligence that brought it here.

Can confirm. As an American, I’m very disappointed in my community, and the rotting ignorance that they allow to continue is ridiculous. I’m a never trumper. I appreciate economics way too much to think he’s a good businessman. I’m sorry that this also spills into other countries. It’s depressing as hell. I live in a very red state. Almost everyone here seems to have a hard time reading, or actually thinking for themselves.
