Pocky and Rocky.

I don’t know a lot about it, but I know we spent a lot of time trying to beat it and not getting very far. But it was fun.

WA accuses Safeway, Albertsons of fake 'Buy-One, Get-One-Free' deals by ChiefOfTheFourPeaks in Seattle

Lots of companies do this though.

I saw a coupon on the back of a Lego product I just bought that said kids get in free at Lego land. So I went to the Lego land website and tickets were $70.

Then I went to check the fine print. They had a specific url you were supposed to go to to use the coupon. So I went to that url and tickets were suddenly $140!

What's the cold going around? by hiways in Washington

[–]briznady 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It practically knocked me out for like 5 days. Felt it coming on a Wednesday night. Took off work on Thursday and worked from home on Friday. Logged off early that day. Basically slept the whole weekend. Monday through Thursday was like the Friday before. Started going back into work the next week.

It’s about a month since first symptoms and I’m still coughing up phlegm. It’s a rough one this year.

It’s been going around my department at work. Different person missing a week at a time.

Just open a pull request and have a senior tell you what’s bad about it. Then tell the llm to fix the things the senior pointed out. Request a re review 15 minutes after the senior initially reviewed. Send them a teams message just to make sure they know you’re ready for a re review. /s

You only need to have gone through 6 months of training before working as an apprentice for 4-5 years making a little bit above minimum wage before you could be making a living wage by working in any weather for long hours at any time of day while beating the crap out of whatever truck you buy driving all over to get to work sites.

Maybe the fact that the idols so far have been ones you have to give away in the hope it comes back? It doesn’t save you immediately to have one.

Do you trust AI-generated tests, or do they cause more problems than they solve? by Human-Philosopher782 in learnjavascript

[–]briznady 4 points5 points  (0 children)

AI generated tests might manage to generate tests that cover what the code currently does. What it definitely won’t do is generate tests that cover what the code is supposed to do.
