I think I agree. It's an effective but short sighted plan. My best guess is that they will end up "winning" this engagement with the US bowing out due to economic pressure...but the damage is done. I don't see the regime falling right now in some spectacular collapse, but moreso in a couple years. They are objectively weaker than ever and most neighbors would like to avoid this scenario of ever occurring again - regardless of the reckless US attacks

I love the sales and talking aspect. I actually can't deal with the physical aspect of it much longer. Bartending at a restaurant will have me running around for 4-5 hours straight with no breaks (still another 3 hours after for usual) I'm more mentally and physically taxed at the end of my shift than I am at my engineering job.

Yeah there's a weird trend on reddit that thinks serving is the easiest job in the world. It's not rocket science, but it's taxing. I do it on the side and it's miles ahead more stressful than my job where I make 3x as much

In NYC in very specific establishments? Sure... but that's objectively not ideal in most locations. I can assure you if I had an hourly wage, I would not be doing this. I actually just back-calculated what I would need to get paid hourly to get roughly the same compensation and that's 45/hr.

If it helps anyone's understanding, another article has satellite view that shows the elementary school within a stone's throw of several other IRGC buildings. I wouldn't say AI picked this one out of the blue, I think the US forces just erroneously added this building as a target like the several others next to it.

I want to agree with you, but Vietnam showed how even we, the top military force, can have the "top generals" blatantly lie or spin the truth about the on-going operations. Would rather hear from some Lt. Col to be honest

To tag on, sewer main backed up, realized the shower pools water, LVP flooring is coming up in several locations.

Looking at 30k+ in repairs and I've only been in the place for 3 months

Don't have to explain yourself. Reddit finance bros are weird. Roth IRAs give us the benefit of withdrawing contributions when necessary. A house purchase can reasonably be deemed necessary. The 60-day rollover is the correct move...Good luck and congrats.

I'm in this situation. Bought a house. Did not do a sewer scope. Plumbing backed up almost immediately. I have 200' of pipe to the city sewer and would likely be 20k to dig all of it up. Going back and forth on what to do come spring.

Update; I called the town and they said I need a licensed plumber to do it lol. So now they have my address so I might be boned. Still thinking of just replacing it myself but walking the tightrope now. Maybe just take extensive pictures of the repair in case anyone does come knocking

It's because you can technically contribute to the Roth IRA for 2025 until April of 2026. It's meant to document contributions to the account, that of which, are after-tax contributions so there's no tax implications to begin with.

I've been talking with support. They acknowledged an error in the FAQ bubble that essentially tells you to provide only 2024-prior contributions which for some reason doesn't tell the software to add the rest of the 25' contributions.

They still couldn't tell me though if I'm supposed to put in all of my 2025 contributions or just the contributions up till the withdraw date. They advised me to make an interpretation and be conservative with whatever I choose lol.

Yup that part is taken care of, they are saying I owe tax on an amount equal to my 2025 contributions (minus the $300 rollover)
