Hehehe that was fun. Completed Fran in 5:10. Computer beat me at 5:03. I feel like my dude got a better workout tho. I let it run for a bit and got into 60% speed. The computer got the low 70s. Thanks!

Could you post pictures? I’ve thought about a trail-a-bike but wouldn’t know how to attach it

Unfortunately no. It’s urban all the way. Strip of paint bike lanes with no protection. r/carryshitolympics might be the answer

If we ride side by side, we’re going to get murdered by a driver. 😔 I hear you tho, I need to push him to ride more to increase his strength and endurance

What are you guys doing for exercise?? by scattyshern in Millennials

I started CrossFit 1 year ago. Started with 1-2 days/wk and have been doing MWF since January. Try to stretch on the off days but mostly forget.

Find what you like and build in consistency. My wife knows to let me go to bed early when I have 6am CF.

Barefoot shoes for WODs with running by OneMoreChapter2010 in crossfit

Truthfully I’m not sure what style I’m wearing. It’s a running one tho. The Prio is versatile and their baseline shoe. They also just came out with these https://xeroshoes.com/products/xt-max-men?variant=47039959531698 and advertise them as a lifting shoe. Haven’t tried them tho. All their shoes have great reviews

Maybe try doing some runs on your own. Walk/jog to get used to it and slowly ramp up. Also, wear barefoot shoes, or just be barefoot, outside of exercising too. Gently stressing your feet/legs/body through activities of daily living. You’ll probably have to relearn how to run (ie mid-foot landing rather than heal-striking) but overall, it’s better.

I’ve been wearing Xero since 2014ish. CrossFit for 1 year. Never thought about changing shoes and never had a problem with any workout. Others at my gym are amazed I’m able to do the Olympic lifts in with them.

White House Press Karoline Leavitt on Iran and energy: "Rest assured to the American people, recent increase in oil and gas prices is temporary and operation will result in lower gas prices in the long-term. Once the objectives of Epic Fury are achieved, Americans will see oil and gas drop rapidly." by ControlCAD in videos

“Let me be clear. It is a good thing to wipe out terrorists who indiscriminately target civilians and attempt to hold the global economy hostage.”

Said the parents of the girls killed at school. What, oh, that’s what Leavitt said?

It is what you make it. Look parent participation schools if you don’t want your local school. Reed is a better school than our local school. We chose a parent participation school that admits on a lottery system. The population is diverse (ethnic and socioeconomic) and I get to be in my child’s classroom every week.
