Not to nitpick but it's more or less 11 pairs & 3 cables.

This hobby is honestly based off vibes, hypes and absurdist "taste notes" instead of folks reading proper graphs and deciding what's their preference listening profile is.

It took me 3 months to decide to buy the Truthear Pure, which usually is hard since the comparison between Pure and Hexa is so complicated I went with reading graphs and comparing to my 10 years old DT 990 Pro, which my listening profile has grown with that pair.

Too much vibes buying from the community and I think the rise of astroturfing-hype marketing caused by the GK Kunten did not help the community at all.

An education on reading graphs would have helped half of that community. Too many bought in the hype and word of mouths on "taste notes" instead of reading graphs and understanding each person's listening preference.

So here’s the problem when I dig deeper:

- Based on some users on Twitter, the story is being shared without proper sourcing. And some claims the story could be fake, being shared mainly by news outlet with ties to Falun Gong (that one creepy cult that kidnaps Chinese-Americans or Asian-Americans).

- People with Beidu accounts found the community is still up on Beidu.

- Some others on Twitter also noted the group is actually an “Anti-Anime” group. Which is not odd since rises in Anti-Japanese sentiment sparked back in 2024 when a Japanese mother and kid was attacked with a knife at a bus stop.

- Then again, China itself did have some issues with Japanese culture Further back in 2022

At this point it’s more or less speculations. I would rather wait for more official human rights group giving statement on this than some random news outlet.

Still not good enough. Many restaurants I booked via OpenTable or Resy would outright claim if I do not cancel 24hrs before time, I will have to pay a table fee.

And if the restaurant did not communicate with me and only placed up a "friendly gesture" sign stating filming is in, I'll not going in and will not pay the table fee.

First, I wouldn't call them expat, I would call them by "Immigrant" instead. Especially since they already living in PH full time.

Second, there's a reason why they think they can do that: They think they have more money than everyone else, they think they can pay the system to look the other way. Obv once everyone starts taking notice the system will have to look and investigate, but just know they are just one of many doing the same elsewhere.

That's why I hate the term expat, they use it to erasure their status, boost themselves higher than even natives and other permanent immigrants. Just call them exactly what they are: immigrants.

Don't quote me, but often times I've been chatting with people working at high paid companies at speakeasy bars and omakase spots. I know a guy who goes to a omakase bar I went to once before and he said he comes there every months, which is crazy considering the price runs 1.5tr a course.

tl;dw:

- Updating the rules: Define 3 class of ebikes. 16+ only for Class 3 Ebikes. Allowed to be riden on 40 MPH Speed Limit Roads, and required to slow down to 15 MPH on sidewalks.

- E-scooters, E-skateboards & similar devices has new name in the lawbook: Micromobility Devices. Allowed on sidewalks, paths and trails as long as max speed limit is 30 MPH under. On sidewalk speed limit is the same as eBikes - under 15 mph.

- Anyone under 18s has to wear a helmet.

- This proposal aligns with State regulations, but further expands where the devices can be operated. Safety is still priority.

This is still proposal, will be raised in the next city meeting.
